I do, but its "can he carry 240 lbs?" vs. "can he cover in space"?

Those are my thoughts as well, especially given the last few years. Manti was average in coverage skills until his final year. Carlo in space still makes me nervous.

Personally I like Tranquill a lot better than Johnson. And yes I think he is a very good athlete that could help in many spots including being a great ST player. I don't see the fit for Johnson, in fact I would like to pass on Johnson at this time.

This, definitely. Even if he can't carry 240 like we want him to, he could still possibly a) play ILB successfully at a lower weight, a la Luke Kuechly, b) play Star or boundary safety, or c) be a special teams superstar/backup LB like Joe Schmidt. I definitely like the Tranquill offer and hope he commits.

As of right now Quick is most definitely not playing D. The staff loves this kid as playmaker. One of the reasons we're in such good graces is we've explained how we'd move him around in the offense and set him up with the ball in his hands.

Im back on the 247 wagon (free till December awesome deal). Kinda disappointing TV, doesn't look like Wiltfong contributed. Nothing we don't already know. Kind of more of a Master List type thing. I still think Loy kinda sucks but AAVIP and Wiltfong make it worth it.

I think him and Sapp were friends and now Loy and Wiltfong work alongside each other versus Sapp and Wiltfong worked together if u know what I mean.

As someone who has now had ISD, II, and 247 during and after Sapp, 247 with Sapp was IMO by far the best in ND recruiting news.

definitely starting to realize how good we had it when he was around. It seems like Loy works hard but Sapp must have had some relationships inside ND that got him accurate and quick info.

I think Wiltfong was making a special effort to post updates on the BGI board during the transition, since there was no one else to do it. Now that Loy is settled in, he is supposed to be handling the recruiting updates on his own.

I also think that Steve and Jason were friends and that's how Tunnel Vision came about. Man, do I miss Tunnel Vision ...

It matters what you're looking for. I figure I'm gonna get my ND news and perspective here so I why went back to 247 was that I get the more global perspective via the other 247 sites (which are 10x better than the other Rivals sites w/ a few exceptions). ISD is good just don't like having nothing but the ND perspective
