Well, I just swooped RDR2 on sale Over the weekend. I know I’m 2 years late on this but, man, what a gorgeous game.

On the one hand, Bravo programming is her guilty pleasure which gives me leeway to keep gaming. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure her brain gets a little smoother with every episode of Real Housewives...

This is my dilemma.

I put the kids to bed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so she can watch the newest episodes of Real Housewives free of interruption. This seems fine, as this allows me to negotiate for a Thursday/Saturday/Sunday night of watching football late without bedtime duties.

BUT, then I realize that I'm not sure if I'm okay with her watching Real Housewives free of interruptions, because of the psychological damage it likely causes.

It seems to appeal to the female lizard brain in the same way that football and violent video games do for ours: forming and breaking alliances, policing the social hierarchy, using one's sexuality to maintain material security, etc.

Seems like that sort of game. I'm having fun watching twitch streams and enjoying the memes, but its not my friends' thing so I know I would just be throwing money away.

It's alright for a shitter game, but I've got better things to play otherwise. I did pick it up on Steam, but only so I could give my daughter the phone so we can tag team the competition and play something together.

For the first time ever, I've gotten bored with an Assassin's Creed game. Trying to play AC: Unity, and France looks gorgeous, but the gameplay itself is blah.

Thinking about switching to Shadow of Mordor... which is still Assassin's Creed, but not.
