Yeah not a fan of any of those, but Stella is drinkable...

Interesting on Yuenling, always figured it was quality stuff as much as people talk about it,...

Yuengling is like In and Out Burger: people who don't have access to it envision it as some mythical white whale, and most are somewhat disappointed when actually trying it. Not "this is terrible" disappointed, instead "yeah that was good, but my life still isn't complete" disappointed.

This. The novelty will wear off here within a month. LQ's have countdown banners for when bottle and can purchases can be made, as if Yuenling is God's sweat. It's still keg only for another day or so IIRC. We serve drafts at the Legion, and it's the same price as all other piss water on tap.

How do you like being a Legion member? I just got convinced to join the one in my little town and it's pretty nice. Recently remodeled with cheep drinks ($2 drafts and $2 well bourbons). I can also walk there from my house and feel like my drinking is always in the honor of those who fought for my right to stumble down the street back to my house. Good times.

EXACT same situation for me. It's a stones throw from the house, has cheap drinks, good food, and great people. It truly is an extended family. I highly recommend joining as a SAL (Sons of AL) if you had a parent or grandparent serve, or a Legionnaire if you served.

We are blessed to have a state of the art Post in Fishers, IN. AWESOME bar and TV set up, with a great mixture of young and old members. Weekends are lively, unlike many Posts.

I also get to bartend there, where I'm basically getting paid to watch football and hang out with my friends. Best gig ever.

Nice. If I ever find myself in the Indy area, I'll try to swing through. I joined as a SAL and my brother is a Legionairre.

Yeah I like to visit Posts wherever I go. Found some bad ones, but never bad people or warm beer.

Diversity and inclusion meetings. Three hour diversity and inclusion meetings.

My place of employment has "Diversity Training" classes that are given department-wide when a department is reported to have tolerance-related "issues" (usually when an employee is terminated and states in an exit interview that they think it was in part because of their race/religion/sex etc.)

In these classes, one of the main points of emphasis is that people of color get to have "side hustles" to make extra money, and that white people are not allowed to have "side hustles" or at least can't call them "side hustles" because the opportunities are more numerous and legitimate for white people.

A person of color selling bootleg CD's/DVD's is a legitimate side-hustle, according to the person that gives the classes, because other "side hustles" are already taken by white folk.

That's an official class that departments are often required to give. There is no rhyme or reason as to why we learn about "side hustles" alongside legitimate and important aspects to keep in mind, and yet the speaker spends the majority of the time on it.

Why the heck do bean counters need to learn about either of those?

If all you white people didnt act like David Brent's all the time you wouldn't need Diversity and Inclusion training.

Golf fans,... look golf is a great sport, I enjoy it.. but it is simply the single most boring thing to watch on TV ever... yet every golf person around me talks shit about other sports, soccer, baseball, football whatever being too boring... then they'll straight up watch an entire day long broadcast of nothing but guys swinging golf clubs... if there was ever a "don't get it' moment for me with sports, that't it.

Golf had benefited more than any other sport, besides maybe hockey, from HD.

The last day of a major when Phil is in contention and a six pack.... tough to beat.

Like Wiz said, HD has made golf so much better, as has the fact that some of these guys are straight athletes killing the ball.

I totally get your view, and I agree that those that call other sports boring are idiots, but there's something about lounging around on a lazy Sunday watching golf. I can't wait for this Sunday, I'll play a round early, then enjoy the end of the Masters.

I could live with it if the sports reporting world didn't stop everything they are doing and cover majors like it's the damned super bowl... Dan Patrick for example won't talk baseball, hates all over soccer, laughs at hockey... but he'll spend like a week straight on the masters... THAT grinds my gears...

The Masters IS the damned Super Bowl.

No, it's not.

One is one of four mind numbingly boring spectator events... the other is the Super Bowl.
You just need to find guys you like (or guys you hate) and then it's way more fun. I'm a Phil / Fowler / Jason Day fan and I root HARD against DJ, Spieth, and Rory.

People also say I look like Patrick Reed (the fat one).

I find the Super Bowl to be the most overblown excess of style-over-substance that I don't even watch unless the Patriots are in it... which I guess is most years so never mind.

I guess I get that, I can't watch the NBA bc I have no real rooting interest and I just find the other sports to be MUCH more watchable generally... but give me ND basketball and I'm all in.... same with Tennis, back in the Michael Chang, Samprus, Agassi days I could watch tennis all day on weekends... now I can't watch it at all... mainly bc their is no one to root for.

Watching Tennis is as bad as golf.

If I wanted to hear strange, over-played grunting and gasping while balls are getting batted around, I'd get on Pornhub.

Watch Roger Federer. He's an artist and doesn't make much noise. Blessed to live in a time where I got to watch him play.... particularly at Wimbledon.
