It's just you, I'm sure the rest of the office gets plastered behind your back and meets your mom at the strip club every Wednesday for amateur hour at lunch....

You're still mad about the pizza thing, arent'cha?

I was kidding about the kool-aid lip. I'm sure it's not as bad as you think.

Bell's Hopslam. Hmm. A pretty good DIPA but not worth the price especially this year. I remember enjoying last years release more than this years. Well it has 5 more attempts to win me over.

I went to Cincinnati Beer Fest last weekend, and I was probably most excited to try Hopslam at Bell's booth. I wasn't impressed at all compared to all the good I had heard about it.

Got to try a bunch of other good stuff, though. Highland Brewing, from North Carolina, had a coffee porter that I really enjoyed called Thunderstruck. Rogue also had a newish IPA called 7 Hop that was fantastic. There was some other really good stuff that escapes me or else I drank too late in the night to recall. I should've updated this thread throughout the night.

What do you think of it? What about the other Sierra Nevada IPA you had from that pack?

Gold is good, balanced,...

Torpedo is a very good IPA ive had many times

Ruthless is maybe my fav SN aside from there basic Pale that I love

Blindfold is good but odd, it's like it can't make its mind up on what it is, a watered down Stout or an IPA... I'd have it again though.

So what do you think of it?

1st things 1st. My wife told me she got the 23. She got the 15. That being said....

Amazing nose. Vanilla caramel, oak
I get some citrus and chocolate between sips. Just sweet enough. No real indication of its proof. Very complex but surprisingly subtle.

Finish is short IMO.

All in all....
Words don't really do it justice. I am glad I waited so long to try it.

Angryballs. A lot more balls than angry.

(For those of you who don't know this concoction, it's Angry Orchard + Fireball Whiskey)

Double Duckpin double IPA from Union Craft Brewing in Baltimore. I'm a big fan of this brewery and this is probably my favorite.

I was at Coyote Ugly in New Orleans and they had a drink called Blue Balls - PBR and Fireball.

So what do you think of it?

The building or the booze?

Oh, wait.

DOH! I should just look at the thread title, shouldn't I?

Just finished a can of Oskar Blues Old Chub. Good stuff. I prefer the nitro, but the corner market was out.

About to crack a bottle of La Folie. Wish it was available year round.

Good RIS, very good actually. For some reason the price around here for this beer is really high though.

Like Johannes said, CS does a real good job with their Stouts (and everything else too in my opinion).

The Extremely Angry Beast is $12 here and I think that that is about the right price. If I had one complain it would be that the part that is aged in rum barrels doesn't really come through.

I'm a fan of their stouts, especially Blaecorn Unidragon. The only stout I like better at that price point is Epic Brewing's Big Bad Baptist.

I have a Big Bad Baptist waiting to be opened. You are making me want to open it. I must resist.

That shit is disgusting. I was pounding those a few weekends ago (because they were cheap), but every shot tasted like I was blasting potpourri or a terrible Yankee candle.

Still a bit traumatized.
