Plus lets not forget the ring around the stadium that's always telling me to call Allstate.
As to the people who don't think this administration will do that because they don't for basketball games, there's a reason I called it "ad
creep." What this administration does, or promises, doesn't really matter because one day Swarbrick, Kelly, and others will retire/be shown the door. So the question isn't one of "what's going to happen with ads in the next five years" it's more about the far future.
I also call it creep because I can see ND starting with one partner like Adidas or NBC. Someone that they have long-term connections with. Then it turns into Coke products, because they want to increase sales in the stadium, and it just steamrolls from there.
At the end of the day a jumbotron can be tool to view replays. But lets not pretend that we're going to put what is essentially giant billboard inside the stadium and it's not going to be used to advertise stuff.
