I think the Loftus part of the Gug has been out-of-date since it was built and supposed to be "state of the art" haha.

The weight room was awesome at the time, but they need to modernize the workout space if they want to *try* to keep up with the programs that have waterfalls and barbershops and stuff like that.


*I realize that ND won't have waterfalls and barbers and stuff like that, I just use it to illustrate that ND can't let their actual equipment fall behind if they aren't going to use the bullsh*t "innovation" to impress prospective student athletes.

Oh I have no idea, I was just spit-balling to raz Wolly.

I came up with that value a while back when the Dow first flirted with 20,000. I arrived at that number by looking at ND's reported $10.4B valuation on 9-30-16. On that day the Dow was right at 18,000. It's just under 20,000 today. That's about 11%. Multiply 10.4B x 11% and it's 11.5B

Obviously, the endowment won't exactly mirror the Dow, I just used it as a fun way that's not too whimsical to guesstimate the added value of an 11% rise in the market.
