His parents live in MI, his sister in Indiana (Married to Tom Crean) Heck, they showed Jim at the Cubs WS games and his dad was with him.. I can't imagine him wanting to stop doing that for what? The Rams?... I just don't see it. However, I never thought he would go to MI so I have been wrong before

Eff yes! Just mentioned in the replacement thread that I think he's always been our best case realistic DC option.

On a scale of Longo to Dave Arnanada, how excited should I be?

I think you should be excited. He has done well with what he was given at Wake. I think he would be a great hire for the Irish.

IMO, Elko could get this D playing much better by next season. He does quite well with far less talent.

One of the coaching sites did a talent-adjusted grading of all coordinators. I believe Elko out at A or A+ and in that regard was similar to Aranda.

If you compare the same opponents we faced this season, Wake gave up 21 fewer points to Duke, and 24 less points to Syracuse. They gave up a bit more to Army and a whole bunch to NC State (But that game shouldn't really count in comparison anyway). They were tied at 20th for fewest points given up this year.

Steve Wiltfong mad a comment out of the blue that Jurkovec loved Sanford. Thinks as long as the offense doesn't change he expects him to stick but time will tell.

Makes you wonder why he would say that?

Wiltfong saying that he did some digging and that Kelly's probably goes back to play calling in 17. And he expects the job to go to Elko if interview goes well.

Are we talking BK Cinnci days seeing how he now has the most talented QB he's ever had to coach who is perfect for this? Or will Brian Kelly just pull a typical Brian Kelly move? Let's be Peyton Manning at the line of scrimmage offense
