I don't get all the MSU love. The Spartans have beaten nobody of consequence. I'd say Notre Dame's hard fought, one point loss to a pretty good Georgia team speaks volumes more than MSU's nothing wins. The Irish have improvements to make for sure, but they are markedly better than last year's squad. Whereas by all accounts, MSU is a scandal-ridden mess.

Maybe ND's strategy is to wear out the opposing team's offense?

Serious question though, why is that always the cliche... "Their D is tired, they can't get off the field" Defensive line players substitute much more frequently than O line players so why doesn't the offense get wore down? You'd think the first guy to get tired would be the fat guys.

Agree, would hope ND puts it to them, but can see it being a struggle, too. To me, this is a MUST game for ND. Lose this one and your season will be disappointing. ND would appear to be the better team, but I don't think I've gotten any warm and fuzzy on them yet. Hope tonight is the night.

False, this is a Catholic event and I had asked the host to play the ND game weeks ago. The guy isn't a diehard Miss State fan, he just cares that a team from Mississippi is playing. For real, he told me that he likes both teams and doesn't have a fave. That's not college football!
