I'm just kidding, I've achieved Grand Master level.
Long-time lurker, first time poster. For the last few years I was content with just checking in for the latest conspiracy theories and unfounded rumors going on around ND football, but then I became less busy at work and thought “Hey, I might just be able to add some insight into the various activities that might have led to Davonte leaving the program.”
Just kidding of course. I get on here way too often because I enjoy the commentary from the diverse group of members on here. Plus it’s a great way for everyone to contribute the latest intel they are hearing and figure out what makes the most sense... which usually happens to be the worst version of the story. Sorry to derail the thread!

After re-watching the New Mexico game, my biggest concern is the O-line and if we can't win in the trenches we don't have a chance. The way we have to win big games like this is control the line of scrimmage on both sides and then be able to use the play makers we have to take shots. We don't have the skill depth in the backfield or outside to makeup for sub-par O-line play.

"The screen passes at times were pretty effective against us. Against lesser opponents like Murray State and Arkansas State it's an annoyance but against a team as talented as ND it could cost us 6. I really hope we improve in this area because the last thing I want to see is a WR taking it to the house off a bubble screen that should have been at worst a 3 yard gain."

well considering Will Fuller has been about the only competent screen guy we've had (maybe im missing someone) I think UGA is safe.

I just have the feeling our rushing game does diddly, and Book is going to be harassed all game, and the WRs will get little separation. Then come post game, it'll be all about Book not standing in the pocket and taking off too much. Rinse repeat.
