While I know they have minimal receiving talent and he arguably their best, is he proven much of anything at this point? Or is it just potential?

You're right. I saw an article on ESPN (I think) making a plea to Notre Dame to keep Michigan on the schedule. Basically it claimed if ND can schedule Texas it can schedule Michigan. All I could think about is how thanks to a few reasons, ESPN being one, rivalries are diminishing because there is too much money involved now. It's sad.

I think the bigger issue is recruiting. Better to play in Texas than to play two games in Michigan, which is a contiguous state. We want to recruit nationally, we need to play in every region...especially the South.
