Scored tickets today from work! Have to take a client but it was my choice. The chosen client of course is a blast!

Only problem, didn't plan any tailgating destinations. Didn't think I was going. Any IE brethren hosting a tailgate? PM me, if so. Wouldn't mind meeting up with some of you folk.

Section 23....Good Section?

I'm expecting the big-game performance from ND in this one that we've all been waiting for (the Oklahoma game in '12 was great, but I predict this one goes better).

BK is going to have answers for everything scUM tries to do defensively, regardless of what he's said about Mattison's defense, simply because he knows his QB can execute in whatever way necessary. No longer limited by his QB's physical limitations, BK can call upon any strategy necessary throughout this game to win the offensive matchup. ScUM's defense is good, but not good enough to keep BK from dictating what he wants to do.

Defensively, Gardner is going to have success at times. But I also think a couple of timely sacks and an interception or two are going to widen the scoring margin. ScUM may have some success running up the middle, and Schmidt may struggle to knock ballcarriers backwards, but simply being in the right place at the right time will keep the defense from getting fully gashed, and thus will keep Gardner throwing on third and medium-to-long situations. BVG is gonna break out some complex stunts and blitz packages, and at some point I expect Redfield or Shumate to get home on an overload blitz, or for Gardner to make a terrible decision against such a blitz.

Special teams looked good against Rice, but we'll see what type of answers scUM might have for a retooled punt return game. I predict GB breaks a big one at some point in this game.

In general, despite the business-like attitude that BK has put on display, I expect him to have these guys amped like never before once 7:30pm hits on Saturday night.

Finally, we're going to see ND lay it on scUM like those meatchicken f*ckers deserve.

Awesome! Not near the students, but your view of the game will be really good IMO.

I'm looking forward to seeing how BVG adapts to what michigan does on offense. Too many times it seemed like Diaco refused to deviate from his plan, regardless of how it was working, until halftime.

I just had an electric jolt of a vision; how do you stop Mattison's defensive scheming?

Come out with Malik Zaire as qb in a wishbone formation, Tyler Luatua at fullback, and GB and TF as half-backs!

Wow, would some people be crappin' their shorts, or what?

Carlisle isn't PR/KR return man, I wouldn't call Cam the back they have to worry about (He's also a returning starter), and didn't Fuller start?

On that note, put Jabrill on Amir all day. Let Breezy the other run free over the top and out wide.

I need more people to post this stuff. Makes me far less worried.

Sitting in the airport waiting for flight to Detroit>Chicago. South Bend tomorrow. #GoIrish #BeatMeatchicken

Flight grounded. Connection missed. Hopefully this is the worst thing that happens this weekend.

Confessions...

I hope, for once in our life, we show their visiting fans no sportsmanship. It has always bothered me that we treat all visiting fans with respect, but at cesspools like Ann Arbor we routinely have fans assaulted, harassed, and otherwise mistreated. Ask any Notre Dame fan who has gone to games there... their conduct is thoroughly abhorrent.

I hope that Brian Kelly runs up the score if he has the chance.

I hope that Kelly doesn't shake Hoke's hand after that fat motherfuckers comments... sadly, I know he has too much class for that. But for the coach of the team that literally chickened out 4 separate times to run his mouth about us exercising the out clause of a contract to accelerate the end of a series that was already ending and have his fan base of mouthbreathers lap it up is infuriating.

I hope we never play Michigan again. Except in lacrosse, where we'd absolutely woup that ass.

I'm worried about our D but if Golson plays how he did last week we have a chance. This game IMO can be the difference between looking at this season in a positive or negative manner. If we lose this game barring an NC game appearance or big bowl win it will be hard not to allow this blemish to make you feel like this season is a failure. I know if we come up short we can still beat other rivals but this would be a huge blow thankfully I'm off this Saturday and can drink during the game to calm my nerves. God bless my wife.
