Anyone want to bet me this will not be on NBC? It will be on Peacock and they will make people pay for it. Maybe on USA network but I have my money on Peacock and it will be the 3rd game I will miss in over a decade. The other 2 were also when they put them on Peacock.

Along with the HBCU angle it’s the home opener and really the opening weekend for college football season. Ratings will get a bump from that and NBC will take ‘em.
CMU will be the annual Peacock game.

I'd be shocked in ND's home opener was subjected to a streaming service. I hope it's on NBC, if not I'll be heading to this game in person. The UNLV game last year was abysmal on Peacock.

I believe the 2021 home opener vs Toledo was on Peacock.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was part of the negotiation for the game, or even that it was helped set up by NBC in the first place.

NBC is usually the home to biggest HBCU games in general, I believe, so I doubt they'd relegate an HBCU visiting their flagship program to Peacock.

This is the type of game Notre Dame's freshmen class should be able to win on their own.

That would be horrible irony, but one I could see happening. ND schedules HBCU to help bring awareness and dollars to the program and subsequently forces their fans to buy a sub to watch and ensures nobody without a rooting interest can access freely.

ND on Peacock definitely will still draw more viewers and dollars than any other game in Tennessee State’s history

It will be unless ND decides to do a ton of tinkering. NDSU would beat these guys by 40+. ND would beat NDSU by 30+.
