If I remember correctly, I believe that you asked for our advice, then we told you to wait until closer to the game.

Then you did as you always do.... haha.

Could've gotten a nice weekend at a timeshare in Hawaii for that price.

Could have built a deck out of Williams-Sonoma Persimmon Spoons and stained it with ND helmet paint for that much.

I didn't ask on this one. But I'm over it. I don't like scrambling last minute to find and pick up/wait on delivery for tickets.

No, but I've seen enough of Trumbetti against Texas' run game to realize he's the 2016 Joe Schmidt on rush defense. I'll take the field against what I've seen from him.

And Hayes was noticeably better than Trumbetti all spring/fall, so if he's healthy (which he must be since he's taking snaps), what are they waiting for against another run team...

There a snap count? Cuz I don't recall Betti being in much, I do recall for some unknown reason James O playing 4th dline and being useless like he's always been.

What are you talking about. James has been one of the best defenders on the team this year. He played well against Texas and out of his mind against Nevada. Hardly useless.

For 6 bills you could have hired someone to get in your crawl space for you and hired someone to stain your deck.

Out of his mind, ROFL. No one played well against Texas on D, especially the dline and especially way undersized James O playing d end. Just say no to drugs bro

I respectfully disagree. I think James has played well in both games and has been a bright spot.

James had a few issues during the Texas game, wasn't his best performance given past games. He struggled to get off some blocks, especially when Swoopes was running. He's still a good linebacker though, and we really struggled all over the place defensively in that game.

Hopefully St. Brown recreates the swam dive into Michigan State's band this Saturday....several times en route to an Irish win.

I think Rochelle and James O has been our best two defensive players through two games

Yep. Would like to see more of Cage as well. He's seems more disruptive than Jones for whatever reason.

Question of the day

Question of the day

Three minutes to go, ball is on the 30 yard line. Need 70 yards and a TD to win.

Would you rather:

Be ahead and have to play defense knowing our D is sketchy or be behind and have to score with our potent offense?

We have the ball. But knowing BK we'd score too early and MSU would kick a FG to win.

ahem...Stanford.

I don't think asking your defense to actually defend for 1 minute is out of the question. Most coaches take those points as they come with the expectation, you have a competent D to make the stand.
