It's almost like the people you read on Twitter/reddit/facebook who seem politically insane on either side are actually Russians...
We need some more russian bots showing up in here for a brief second. Those were the good ol’ days.

The funniest part about them (other than the porn) were that you instantly knew it was a bot…AND instantly knew it was russian.

There is legitimate arguments that NATO shouldn't exist or the practices of NATO since the fall of the USSR have pushed Russia to take action.

The argument from that tweet ain't it though lmaoooo.

I have no expertise in foreign affairs. It should be noted that the "foreign policy experts" that our country does have completely bungled the last twenty-plus years so I'll give it a shot.

Let Ukraine go. They'll make a deal and the bloodshed stops. Too many Russian mom's sons and Ukranians of all ages have died. For a cause America pretends to believe in.

It's super fun to watch a video on the internet of a Russian aircraft or tank being blown up. I get the enthusiasm..

But some of you are rooting for the poorest country in Europe to bleed so you can potentially see some fun headlines. You want to root for Ukraine. Some want to put a no-fly zone up which is a de facto declaration of war on the Bear.

If Russian nuclear protocol is anything like ours, it takes one Putin fan out of three. Launching a nuke in the US isn't hard with a presidential order. You think it's harder over there? Doubtful.

Why you being such a pussy? Stop hiding behind this pseudo-Utilitarian facade of what’s best and just come out and say “Go Russia”. Waive that Russian, or better yet, Soviet Flag. You’re clearly so triggered that people would have the audacity to support Ukraine and their right to self determination.

Seriously, you probably read history and get off to the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact, curse and mutter to yourself when you read about the Prague Spring.

Nobody thinks this is “fun”. And the fact that that is your argument shows how flawed and unfounded your position is. What about the Russians protesting in the streets, or the Russian girl with the anti war sign on live air? Are they just having “fun” too? Ukraine has mobilized their entire country to fight off the encroachment of their aggressive neighbor. God forbid some, or actually most, including all sane people, support that.

Putin has failed to take Ukraine.

Let's not beat around the bush.

The Bully failed. and his reaction is to do what Bullies always do. Having been punched in the nose and bleeding by little boys his own size,
he picks on women and smaller kids.

Thus, apartment buildings and hospitals, and attacking refugee convoys.

Putin believed his own bullshit.

And established a graft filled kleptocracy (it is not an oligarchy, that is a misnomer) and thus his military establishment is weaker, more corrupt with more bad chattels than a normal military industrial complex, like the United States.

You have no clothes, Vlad.

You already lost.

The sanctions worked, faster than most expected:

"The economic cost of Russia's assault on Ukraine was fully exposed on Wednesday as Vladimir Putin's sanctions-ravaged government teetered on the brink of its first international debt default since the Bolshevik revolution.

Moscow was due to pay $117 million in interest on two dollar-denominated sovereign bonds it had sold back in 2013. But the limits it now faces making payments, and talk from the Kremlin that it might pay in roubles - triggering a default anyway - meant even veteran investors were left guessing at what might happen."

Putin is a war criminal. The US Senate said so. All 100.
An American decision.

  • Whereas, prior to the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, President Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation has a long history of committing acts of aggression, human rights violations, and acts that constitute war crimes within the Russian Federation and around the globe, including in Chechnya, Georgia, Ukraine, and Syria;
    Whereas, beginning in 1999, the Russian Federation engaged in the indiscriminate use of force against the people of Chechnya, including the use of cluster munitions against civilians, resulting in 50,000 Chechens, mostly civilians, dead or missing;
    Whereas, during the Russian Federation’s invasion of Georgia in 2008, Russian Armed Forces engaged with cluster munitions in indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks that resulted in the death of civilians;
    Whereas President Vladimir Putin violated the sovereignty of Ukraine and used military force to seize control and unlawfully occupy Crimea and eastern Ukraine, indiscriminately targeting and killing thousands of innocent civilians since 2014;
    Whereas the Russian military was deemed responsible for shooting down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 over eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014, which resulted in the death of 298 civilians;
    Whereas rebel forces supported by the Russian Federation were deemed responsible for a missile attack on January 24, 2015, in Mariupol, Ukraine that indiscriminately targeted civilians, resulting in the death of at least 30 and injuring many more;
    Whereas, in 2016 and 2017, Russian aircraft deployed “bunker-busting” and incendiary bombs capable of destroying military installations on civilian structures in Aleppo, Syria, resulting in the death of hundreds of civilians;
    Whereas President Vladimir Putin is complicit in war crimes and human rights violations in Syria through his continuing political, financial, and military support for President Bashar al-Assad;
    Whereas intelligence assessments have concluded Vladimir Putin and his regime have destroyed the rule of law in Russia and engaged in countless crimes against humanity, including ordering the poisoning of Alexi Navalny, the poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal, and the false imprisonment and torture ultimately leading to the death of Sergei Magnitsky;
    Whereas President Vladimir Putin, in February 2022, initiated a premeditated, unprovoked, unjustified, and unlawful war against the sovereign nation of Ukraine;
    Whereas, in February 2022, President Vladimir Putin and Russian Federation forces targeted and reportedly killed more than 300 civilians, to include children, while engaging in Ukrainian urban centers, causing chaos and fear among Ukrainian citizens;
    Whereas, on February 28, 2022, the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Oksana Markarova, claimed President Vladimir Putin ordered the deployment of thermobaric weapons and cluster munitions to be used in the northeastern towns of Okhtyrka and Karkhiv;
    Whereas Ukraine has twice submitted to the jurisdiction of the ICC for the purposes of prosecuting war crimes committed within its territory due to the Russian occupation of Ukraine;
    Whereas Lithuania and Canada, members to the authorizing treaty of the ICC, have called on the ICC to open an investigation into possible war crimes committed by Russia;
    Whereas, on February 28, 2022, the Prosecutor of the ICC, Karim A. A. Khan QC stated that the ICC would open a third investigation against Russia for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity committed during the Russian invasion into Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022;
    Whereas Ukraine has also filed a claim in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) instituting proceedings against the Russian Federation for genocide; and
    Whereas the United States Government should use its voice, vote, and influence to pursue war crimes allegations against Vladimir Putin and his military commanders in international institutions of which it is a member and encourage other allies and partners to express the same: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That the Senate—
(1) strongly condemns the ongoing violence, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and systematic human rights abuses continually being carried out by the Russian Armed Forces and their proxies and President Putin's military commanders, at the direction of President Vladimir Putin;
(2) encourages member states to petition the ICC and the ICJ to authorize any and all pending investigations into war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by the Russian Armed Forces and their proxies and President Putin's military commanders, at the direction of President Vladimir Putin;
(3) supports any investigation into war crimes, crimes against humanity, and systematic human rights abuses levied by President Vladimir Putin, the Russian Security Council, the Russian Armed Forces and their proxies, and President Putin's military commanders;
(4) encourages the United States Government and partner nations to use their voice, vote, and influence in international institutions in which they are members to hold President Vladimir Putin, the Russian Security Council, the Russian Armed Forces and their proxies, and President Putin's military commanders accountable for their sponsorship of ongoing violence, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and systematic human rights abuses; and
(5) stands with the people who have been affected by the brutality of the Putin regime.

Bud, those posts were to show that you're obsessed with trying to pin price shocks on a single administration without any sort of support showing the direct causational relationship. There were literally two posts from my count that even mentioned the price, not sure why you're upset with that. Also, Drayer brought up O&G first so maybe take it up with him.

The overall point that you mouth breathers should understand that trying go bananas over O&G while ignoring global events is hilarious. This is further highlighted by the fact the price fell to $95 prices are still high and it didn't drop because of Lord Biden pulling a lever.
Says the guy who seems obsessed with replying to all posts about the price of gas.

Gents if you keep letting B&F post like this, which seems to be his norm. You better buy another 10 Terre-bytes of storage before you run out! lol

There was part of one post of mine that put blame on biden.

“Biden and his administration have clearly made gas and oil persona non gratta. There is a huge push to over-regulate, tax, and disincentive oil and gas production. Further, the push to go "green" has been shortsighted on biden's part. Right now, we can't have a push to be "green" AND have cheap gas and fuel. For now, they are very much mutually exclusive.”

That’s hardly a questionable or controversial statement.

Stopping russian oil imports, nancy pelosi (one of the key indicators there for you there to pick up on it NOT being about biden was the term “her”), discussing the amount of oil we import from russia, etc. isn’t blaming biden. It’s part of a discussion on…on a board…for discussion.

I have said, multiple times though, that russia and putin are part of the reason gas prices are high.

Maybe you just need to take a deep breath and read a bit better.
When you post about O&G you should expect posts pointing out differences of opinion. I simply posted my thoughts on O&G as it relates to the price shock from Russia as part of another posters posts for a discussion...on a board...for discussion. I'm still curious on the quantifiable data that you have that shows how any of your first paragraph is true. I'd love to trade barbs about how you think I'm an idiot and what not, but I'd prefer data.

Says the guy who seems obsessed with replying to all posts about the price of gas.
Boy, I have ex girlfriends who stalk me less. Grow up lmao.

Lol. Why don't you go join the foreign legion then? Oh... you are gonna stay here? Ok pussy.

If Russia winning ends the suffering, then I hope they roll Ukraine today. I doubt that will be happening though.

And the number of Americans who actually give a shit about whether Donbas or even the whole of Ukraine is ran by Russia is probably like 1-2%. But people watch the news, share tweets of videos of people dying. This is absolutely a sport or some hit new Netflix series to many people.

Last I read Ukraine was giving teenage boys a whopping three days of training before sending them off to fight. Sorry I'm not enthused by the prospect of that when I don't think they are going to win.

I guess I'm just a pussy though according to some guy from Philly.

What the actual fuck.
I'm not Gen X. I don't give a shit about Russians. The Soviet Union collapsed before I was born. Former Soviet republics are all dumpster fires, Russia included. From what I've read, they were a dumpster fire as a collective too. If Putin wants to have Ukraine or Donbas he can have it. I think he's likely already learned Russia's military capability isn't what he thought it was lol. He probably isn't going to attack a NATO country after struggling in the poorest country in Europe. I see no value in bothering with Ukraine unless our goal is to watch people die on internet videos.

This guy is quite the ignorant entitled Asshat!
What a clown lol. I like suits. I could wear them every day. I prefer slacks to jeans. But if you told me there was a chance I was going to need to be mobile on a moments notice....I would probably wear something else. I presume the president of a country in a city under attack might like to be dressed comfortably.

I had a crazy admin years ago that made us all dress professionally,… except her idea of such was men need to be fully suited up 24/7, in the middle of the desert,… girls? As look as you look cute you’re professional. So all the women would come in in spaghetti straps and short skirts complaining about how cold the office was so the men would have to walk around in 100 degree heat, then sit in an office set to 85 bc the women in the office, all without ever taking off our jacket because that would be unprofessional. She later got fired for discrimination,… TL/DR: ACamp hates suits and avoids them at all costs now.
