Agree completely.
I hope this game doesn't remind us what we lost when Folston went down. Our RBs have shown they can run through massive holes but can they take the 1-4 yards given and be patient until something opens up.
Clemson is a whole different beast and our OL better show up, ready to play. (and our TEs and WRs better not give a subpar effort either).
So the talk of Clemson's abysmal record against ranked teams got me doing some research.
Clemson is 4-16 all-time in Death Valley vs. AP Top 10 teams. Notre Dame comes into Saturday's game ranked No. 6 in the AP Top 25.
1953 No. 3 Maryland L 0-20
1955 No. 2 Maryland L 12-25
1967 No. 5 Georgia L 17-24
1967 No. 10 NC State W 14-6
1969 No. 7 Georgia L 0-30
1970 No. 9 Auburn L 0-44
1976 No. 9 Georgia L 0-41
1977 No. 10 Maryland L 14-21
1977 No. 5 Notre Dame L 17-21
1981 No. 4 Georgia W 13-3
1984 No. 9 S. Carolina L 21-22
1988 No. 10 FSU L 21-24
1992 No. 5 FSU L 20-24
1995 No. 1 FSU L 26-45
1997 No. 5 FSU L 28-35
1997 No. 8 UNC L 10-17
1999 No. 1 FSU L 14-17
2003 No. 3 FSU W 26-10
2013 No. 5 Georgia W 38-35
2013 No. 5 FSU L 14-51
Clemson is 1-5 all-time vs. an AP top 10 teams at home when it is ranked in the top 25.
The Tigers are 1-2 vs. top 10 teams in Death Valley when both teams are ranked in the top 10.
The first time Clemson played a top 10 team in Death Valley when it too was ranked in the top 25 came in 1977 when the Tigers lost to No. 5 Notre Dame.
Is it Saturday yet?
I'm not sure what you're getting at.You do know this game is being broadcast by ABC/ESPN, and CBS Sports has no stake in it? In fact, wouldn't they prefer everyone to watch their vaunted SEC matchup?
Reps.Packing up for Clemson. Can't wait for GameDay.

We'll see how Kearse likes it when his house is invaded. And he hasn't seen an armed intruder until he sees the guns on #56. I hope he meets Nelson in a hole one time and sees what it's like to be assaulted and have things he values taken from him, namely his dignity and consciousness.

Irish Turning Point - #Savage: A Clemson Guide to Manufacturing DisrespectEver need to fire up your team but your opponent isn’t giving you any bulletin board material? Or want to play the underdog card but your team is actually the favorite? Missing that important chip on the shoulder? Just follow Clemson’s ingenious blueprint and you’ll have your players frothing at the mouth in no time!
Step 1: Find an innocuous tweet and twist the meaning to be “disrespectful.”
After UMASS, Will Fuller tweeted “Clemson … promise it’s gonna be #savage.” Fuller later said it just meant “two top teams are playing, everybody is going to be watching. It’s going to be a really great game.” Makes sense, right? Well, that’s because you’re a normal, reasonable human being.
If you’re a Clemson player/fan/media member with an incredible inferiority complex, somehow you interpret that tweet as “disrespect.” Jayron Kearse has been particularly outspoken about it, saying “They’re getting a bit chippy, they’re talking a lot, all through the media and things like that so I’ll just say, I hope the ref lets us play football… they’re talking a lot, obviously they don’t know what we do down here in Death Valley, so I’m looking forward to this… looking forward to meeting a running back in the hole, catching Will Fuller on the post, whatever it takes.”
So for those keeping score at home, Will Fuller had the audacity to make a harmless tweet about it being a “really great game” and Kearse’s proportional response was to get in front of a microphone and say he hopes the refs let him take cheap shots at Notre Dame players. Seems legit.
Step 2: Take comments made by an opposing player and ignore everything except for a very small part that you can interpret as a slight.
KeiVarae Russell was asked about Clemson, and responded with high praise. He lauded Artavis Scott and injured alpha dog receiver Mike Williams. He said DeShaun Watson was a “good quarterback” that “manages the game extremely well.” But then he made the mistake of saying that he “saw some weaknesses in the Louisville game” and that he’s probably not a “top 5 quarterback.” BIG MISTAKE! You’ve fallen into the second part of the Clemson trash talk trap.
The Clemson world lost their collective minds over these factually accurate statements. You can literally find over a dozen articles on the “slight” given to Watson. Never mind that any objective person would say that DeShaun Watson was not good against Louisville. He threw two picks and didn’t crack 200 yards. He had a QBR in the 50s, which is bad. And speaking of QBR, Watson currently sits at #14 in the country in QBR. So yeah… HOW DARE KEIVARAE RUSSELL GIVE OBJECTIVELY ACCURATE ANALYSIS OF HIS OPPOSITION!?! What exactly were people expecting? Russell to get down on both knees and praise Watson as God’s gift to quarterbacking?
Step 3: Completely exaggerate how “the world” doesn’t believe in you.
This is my favorite part of Clemson’s motivational master plan, because it doesn’t actually require any external doubters. You just have to wave your hands at “everyone” and let Clemson’s massive inferiority complex take over. Notre Dame fans might not be familiar with Clemson, but imagine the inferiority complex held by Boston College fans… and then imagine how much worse they would be if annually they were pretty good but never got over the hump and inexplicably collapsed in key games. “Clemsoning” exists in our college football lexicon for a reason, and is the root of all this insecurity.
But let’s cut the bullshit for a second… Clemson is the favorite in this game. Despite being the lower ranked team, they opened as the favorite in Vegas and remain a slight favorite at most books. But don’t let facts get in the way of your underdog mentality, Clemson. Leave it to Jayron Kearse to give us another insightful gem: “Everybody thinks Notre Dame’s unstoppable. They honestly should have lost to Virginia. So they think Notre Dame’s unstoppable, so we going to come out here and show them that we can stop them.”
Yes, Jayron. EVERYONE thinks Notre Dame is “unstoppable.” Except all those people public polls that overwhelming favor Clemson. And the bettors that have money split evenly. And the pundits that are picking Clemson. And… OK I’ll stop, but I’m not sure words mean what you think they do.

If you are leaving from the airport.... take 85 to either Hwy 88 or hwy 76. 76 will take you to Perimeter Road which takes you right to the stadium. 88 to 123 will take you into Clemson Proper.
I-85 through Greenville to exit 40. Take St Rt 153 North to St Rt 123 South(it goes SW). That'll take you right into Clemson.

CLEARLY ITS US AGAINST THE WORLD AND NO ONE BELIEVES IN US. EVERYONE THINKS CLEMSON IS UNSTOPPABLE. THEY SHOULD HAVE LOST TO LOUISVILLE. JUST WAIT UNTIL THE IRISH SHOW THE WORLD WHAT THEY'RE ALL ABOUT.
