What a douche coach and a horrible fan base. Complaining that we aren't "balanced" enough after we pushed their shit in makes them look super dumb. If we are so "one dimensional" how did we so thoroughly beat them up? What does that say about NCSt that they couldn't stop us?

"Coach, you say Notre Dame is one dimensional. I just rewatched the game tape, it appears they made you zero dimensional. Thoughts?"

This is the type of attitude that turns a very good season (by NCST standards), into a 6-6 season in a December 23rd bowl.

What a time to be alive. The insult levied at Notre Dame is that we try to rush for 300 yards. This is the best timeline.

We're going inside of ‘em, we're going outside of ‘em -- inside of ‘em! outside of ‘em! -- and when we get them on the run once, we're going to keep ‘em on the run. And we're not going to pass unless their secondary comes up too close. But don't forget, men -- we're gonna get ‘em on the run, we're gonna go, go, go, go! -- and we aren't going to stop until we go over that goal line! And don't forget, men -- today is the day we're gonna win. They can't lick us -- and that's how it goes... The first platoon men -- go in there and fight, fight, fight, fight, fight! What do you say, men!

So Coach, what I hear you saying is your inability to stop the run in effect made them one dimensional?

"They tried to rush for 300 yards" lol

Of course, that was the objective, but didn't you give up two TD's via the passing game?

I was actually disappointed. They basically admitted that ND was better and their offense was atrocious..

and stared to apologize to ND fans than adjusted that because one guy came back at them on twitter

and whined about officiating

I did like that at least one of them did admit that having their RB back wasn't a 3 score overcoming thing

It’s not “one dimensional” if you give up 300+ yards rushing. It’s called being dominated at the line of scrimmage. This is the exact style of offense and dominant scoring defense I have craved from this team since I was a little kid. If their coach wants to cry about that fact, well then, all I can say is that his tears are deliscious because you will here very few complaints from our fan base if we continue to play the way we have all season.

In that podcast, one commenter concedes that the Wolfpack was out-coached and lacked the "elite" talent to make up for the resulting deficit-- an amazing thing to hear after the Alabama game five years ago.

The other guy was less willing to concede this. Not an unfair position: injured players like Nyheim Hines might have influenced the defensive play-calling in a way that may have made the game closer, if not an outright victory. And no doubt there were a couple of big, close calls (and plays, like the fourth-down stop) that could have changed the result.

However, in referencing the close calls, around the end of the 14 minute mark this other guy says that the red-zone interception overturned by a holding penalty (I assume he's referencing this play) was "questionable at best." Ugh. Credibility out the window.
