What is alarming is how Curry is just terrified of playing defense...and where in blue hell is Harrison Barnes? I expected the Dubs to run this team tonight again.

Lebron is the most unstoppable basketball player I have ever seen.

Ever.

I have seen Jordan in his prime but Lebron can do whatever he wants to...whenever he wants. These numbers are ridiculous

Except win apparently...
This is such nonsense. Can you name a star player who has won the NBA Finals while missing two of the three highest scoring players on his team?
And his 4th best player is riding the bench!

Look, I'm a Detroit fan so hating the Bulls is automatic. But James and Jordan played in 2 completely different eras. They're 2 compl.etely different players. James is the greatest player on the planet right now. He belongs on the Mount Rushmore for the NBA. But let's show some respect the ones that came before him. And GS is playing it perfect. Single cover James most of the time. But make him work thru the first 3 and he won't have enough to do it by himself in the 4th. And in reality, Wooly did just state a fact and nothing more.

On that note I hope CLE wins the next 2, but it's been fun watching if they don't. Maybe the most enjoyable finals in my time as a fan of the game.

Cavs just simply don't have the talent. Tristan Thompson is probably the only legit NBA starting caliber player on the team besides Lebron. And personally I think he's a bad fit offensively with what they're being forced to do spreading the floor and letting Lebron attack the basket. They need Love to be that stretch-big.

JR, Shump, Mozgov, Delly are all role players at best....JR is probably the only one who ideally should play more than 20 minutes per game for a contender and that's only if he's hitting his shots. Not a Lebron fan by any means, but it's pretty remarkable he's been able to even get the series this far....

A healthy Cavs team vs GS would be an absolute treat. Anderson Varejao is made for a series like this. Kyrie probably wouldn't have been as effective on on Curry as Delly, but the Cavs offensive problems would be non-existent. Add in Love so the Cavs can stretch the floor, only helps Lebron.

BUT.

It's not like that. I won't lie, I am a huge LeBron and Cavs fan, but his team can't buy a shot. JR Smith was on fire, then he hesitates to shoot in the 2nd half? When has JR ever hesitated? Urgh.

To be fair to JR, in this situation he doesn't have the 'green light.' He knows he's playing with the best player on the planet and I'm sure that creates some thought before he acts. We all know Lebron runs the show. I think that's where the problem is in their offense. Give JR the green light and he'll shoot more, make or miss he'll still spread the floor more than it is. They are treading water at this point. Last night had he had the green light he could've shot them to to a W. If he missed ro many they wouldn't be in a worse position than they already are. JR plays on the edge. You gotta let him play there if you want anything out of him.

I'm guessing the Cavs may have made an adjustment? Besides, players usually aren't hot in both the 1st and 2nd half, so it's quite likely he wasn't going to do much in the second half.

JR always has the green light. Espically during the playoffs with Love and Kyrie out. The Cavs need offense from anyone who can provide it and LeBron would be the first to tell you that. The Cavs were an ISO team all year, but they also had sets out of them. The ISO's are so bad now only because LeBron is the only one who has proved he can score on a consistent basis.

Shumpert/JR/Delly/Jones/Miller...I mean every guy has the green light. That's why they are on the team is to shoot open 3's. They are just limited with no one being able to create their own shot. It is the hand they have been dealt and someone needs to step up for them to get to a Game 7.

LeBron has found the open guy, but it's up to them to hit shots too. I also think that Shumpert is injured and playing through it. He isn't the same player he was against the Bulls/Hawks by attacking the rim. There was a play last night where he had a beautiful cross-over into a spin move and missed the layup. A healthy Shumpert would have smashed it home.

Delly isn't the greatest shooter, but I think he is just using so much energy on defense, he has nothing left on offense. Granted, he isn't a "good" scorer by NBA standards, but he can hit an open 3 and he hasn't done that consistently this series.

But, I definitely disagree on that these guys don't have the green light. LeBron doesn't want to be taking 30+ shots a game because that isn't his game.

Ya think? I still remember that magic of the 2004 NBA Finals. It was pretty impressive with the who's who of the NBA at the time.

I completely disagree. Lebron spoke a few times along the lines of what he's had to become with the missing pieces and taking a lot more shots. And you don't think any of the 2nd options on this team think twice before shooting at times with Lebron standing on the court with you analyzing every play. It has to be in almost everyone's mind. Maybe with the exception of Delly, because he runs the offense often. JR Smith has been a completely different player in CLE than I've seen at any other stop in his career.

Being a Pistons fan I loved 2004. I went to several games in the playoffs. However, this year I don't have a rooting interest which makes in more enjoyable for me.

I think this series has had some good finishes, but for overall play this hasn't been a great series.

Well you do have one team with 3 of their top 5 players out haha. I can't say I ever thought Delly would have played meaningful minutes during the rest of the season much less playoffs.

He was speaking to the fact Love and Kyrie aren't there to bail him and the team out. There isn't a consistent option behind LeBron. JR Smith can be that guy, but we all know he is the streakiest shooter in the NBA. Shumpert is far from 100% and that leaves Delly as your 2nd scoring option? Yes, LeBron is going to have to take more shots. But, if winning meant he takes 12 shots a game and JR Smith takes 30, I have zero doubt in my mind LeBron would be ok with that and he would be the first one feeding JR.

I agree that the players may think a little too much, but that isn't because of LeBron. It's simply because none of them have been in this spot, much less been counted on to be a 2nd option. Shumpert was a 2nd or 3rd option in NYC, but thats far from being the 2nd or 3rd option in the NBA Finals.

There just isn't a player that makes the Warriors scared. Once again JR could be that guy, but he just hasn't found his shot this series. LeBron let JR take his shots in the first half last night and got his easy buckets bc JR was on.

Blatt gave in to Kerr and went small. Cleveland isn't made to go small if Kyrie isn't out there on offense. Defensively, they can hold their own going small, but offensively, they are going to struggle because there is a severe lack of players that can create their own shot. It all is based off of LeBron creating for them, which works, but not to the extent the Warriors are pushing them.

JR has been that guy almost his entire career. Just not in a series or game as big as these.

Yeah, but in Denver he played a similar role and succeed with Chauncey and Melo. He has done well with another star. I can't even count the Knicks part of anyones career against them haha
