Does anyone else want to see a power running game, deep passes ( First Two Drives vs. Temple) and aggressive Defense. I want to see our Irish bring the f'ing house. We are Notre Dame....Dominate tomorrow.

this weather talk is an excuse.

when the game is over win or lose no one will say the weather had anything to do with it. It will come to down to making stops, taking care of the football, and converting points.

I don't know what this means. There was an entire segment on ESPN talking about how much cold weather affects the game. They had all of the game day guys talking about it. Add into that 20+ mph winds... it makes it VERY hard to throw the ball and changes the dynamics of the game. This isn't an "excuse".... it's analysis.

And that analysis says that in a run-only game with our depleted defensive line BYU has a large advantage.

It's also official this team is playing with house money now. I fully expect a fast and loose team that wins tomorrow, smiling the whole way.

Affects game, absolutely. Reason for win or loss, no. If Tommy throws a pick on a deep ball do you think anyone is going to say "those damn wind gusts." No.

I suppose anyone can bitch or complain about just about anything. But when I see a video, simple in its presentation, about these kind of guys I feel uplifted, and proud that I am IRISH!

An bhfuil sé seo nach bhfuil ciall a bhaint as?

Everyone's nerves are on edge. What kind of ND team are we going to get today?

I think IE posters should set one goal they can control. No banned users today!

What do you think?

Haha...the booze consumption should be the same as the expectations: low.

For those of you wondering if it was gonna snow, it's like a snow globe right now. It's lake effect snow though, so it's snowing on my part of town but Notre Dame could be getting nothing.

Just drove by the school on way to Dunkin Donuts. It's cold and windy w snow flurries. Low scoring is my guess 21-17 Irish.

I love this weather during football season. I'll take this weather over 75 degrees and sunny for Notre Dame football. It really separates the men from the boys IMO

The bad news is my gut tells me this is a loss. The good news is the only two other times my gut told me "loss" were ASU and USC. GO IRISH!!!

I'll take a W anyway we can get it. But really hope to see a beat down.

Like the ASU game, I have absolutely no worries about today.

Feel this is a sure win (albeit a close one). This is based solely on my gut though this time, not fact(ASU having one meaningful victory in their programs history).

I made the wife take the twins over to her mom's and gave her my card to shop on Daddy's dime.

Get outta the house. It's gonna get rowdy.

The man. My lady is out running errands, took the dog.

Getting out of the house just isn't going to happen. This game, to me, is make or break for the season.

I don't have a rational argument to support my thoughts but I feel like we win by 10+. Going to see Hunger Games with my nieces and nephews at noon to kill some time. Tired of watching the shi%%y Big10

Here's one: BYU actually isn't that good. They have one decent win over Texas in Provo, and that was due to a complete defensive-scheme brain fart. They struggled to beat Houston and lost to Virginia and Utah. Unless you think Georgia Tech is a great team, I just don't see why there's all this trepidation.

I would feel VERY confident in this game if our D was healthy and we had good conditions to throw the ball. I 100% agree with you, BYU is nothing special. They have a dynamic running QB who is worse than Taylor Kelly, 1 NFL caliber skill position player, and Van Noy. That's it.

Sadly, I'm not convinced we can stop the run or that we will be able to consistently move the ball without a vertical passing game. Just seems like everything is adding up to a worst case scenario for ND... which I guess kind of applies to the entire 2013 season which has been filled with bad fortune since the moment the offseason started.

The worst part? I'm going to hang out with a bunch of Mormons tomorrow. Please lord let us find a way to pull this thing out.
