I didn't personally predict a loss for this game, but I was chastising those that thought we'd blow away Pitt given our track record with the Panthers. I think if you look at how we've been performing in November prior to this game you would think we could struggle with BYU. I'm sure some people predicted a loss given the way we've been performing the last few weeks. I'm sure the BYE week helped a lot to get some guys healthy. I'm glad the team showed up personally and fought hard, I thought it would be close.

Me, and my nephew had the best time of our life.. EPIC!! My nephew got 32 autographs, and pictures. Tuiit, Folston,D.D.,Elmer,Shembo, Jaylon,Day etc. Had a blast Friday and sat. My nephew loved the game and now has a p-lay like a champion sign filled with Irish Legends.

I loved the atmosphere, but my drunken buzz was gone by the end of the 1st quarter. It was unbelievably cold, that wind absolutely made a lot of the gray hairs leave which was great

I'm jealous. All my years in the Minnesota cold and anaemic winter sunlight have turned my once Florida blonde hair pretty damn gray. Extended daylight in the summer couldn't keep up.

The cold winds have left my mustache and beard crusted with icicles on occasion, with my 'nads creeping "north" in search for warmth.

It's always good to hear from fans who make it to games.

Trumbetti, Williams and Hayes are across from me and Kelly shakes their hands as he passes (gets blocked a bit from the guy in front of me w a cell phone) and they then follow the team at the end. Diaco shows them some love at the end as well prior to them heading in.

At the 9 second mark, is that black kid on the far left of the screen (far side of the pathway) Nyles Morgan?

He's looks like a LB body, is wearing a lanyard that looks like a field pass, and it looks like BK and a few players high five him.

Not sure but you can see Trumbetti, Hayes and Williams all together not far away from the kid you're pointing out. They are mid screen at the 14 sec mark.

Upon further review, you can see Kelly extend his hand right where that kid is standing at the 30-31 sec mark but the kid getting the hand shake is out of the picture. This is becoming a JFK grassy knoll scenario. Anyone else have this same footage from a different angle?

The hand shake from another angle can be seen moving up and not back which means by design that that young man wants to commit to play football for the university of Notre Dame

Off today and watching the game again. Man, on Folston's TD run from the 4 yard line he just dips in for a split second to lock up the DE and smoothly glides to the outside for an easy TD. It happened so naturally that it was hard to pick up. The kid is the real deal.
