Really impressed with Cardinal Strtich, but I'm glad Brey was still able to get the bench some minutes.

Wish it could have been a blowout, so Auguste could get more minutes. Zach did manage to get 2 blocks in the final couple of minutes though.

ND isn't perfect, but definitely great potential.

Evansville went 16-16 overall last year and 9-9 in the Missouri Valley Conference. The Aces are led by senior swingman Colt Ryan, who averaged 20.5 points last season and was second in the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring.

Note: We play Monumouth(NJ) on Monday night. They have a Sophomore Andrew Nicholas who dropped 28 on Hofstra last night. He in from the same hometown as myself. We played AAU for a couple summers together. Very excited to see how he does against the Irish. Hoping for a deep tourney run as well. GO IRISH

Free throw shooting was a major issue today.
Jumpers weren't falling at all.
Cam played solid.
Auguste was never able to check in.
Sherman seemed nervous and it led to several silly turnovers.

The team has a ways to go. But definitely potential to be great.

Agreed, I want the offense to get their rotations down so we can be full go against Kentucky. I think we have a great shot at that game.

Before I saw UK play against Maryland I assumed they would be the same quality as last year, but they haven't jelled at all and didn't seem to have a shooting threat.

ND has plenty of fire power to stay in a game with anyone, but when we play the big dogs we will need to have good shooting games.

Kentucky had a short white kid as there starting PG against Maryland. That alone should tell you where there talent level is compared to last year.

I was under the impression that the Irish will play BYU or Florida State, depending on who wins, in Brooklyn as part of this tournament that they're in. FSU should be tough.

Haha, FSU Should be tough but they lost to South Alabama in their opener.

My roommate is a huge FSU Basketball fan, he played High School ball in Tally. Needless to say it was glorious watching him react to that game.

Cam continued to score well, but his passing was perhaps the best of anyone on the team.
Zach played very well. Was strong and had a soft 10 foot jumper go in.

Garrick Sherman.... THIS MAN played tremendous tonight. I know big schools will have bigger kids, but if Garrick continues to play this hard, watch out Big East.

Cooley is going to consistently give good play but probably won't take over any games.

Atkins and Grant must play well all year for us to be a dominant team, and they are capable of doing that.
