Yes, I understand why not to tweet at recruits.
Yes, I tweeted at Keith Marshall. The strength of the ND degree and alumni network is one of the few things I will stand up for. Here's an example of why going to ND and playing a sport = best thing ever for your career:
This is an email I received ~8 hours ago and a PERFECT example of the difference between ND and a school like Georgia. Does Georgia go out of their way to work connections and get their athletes interviews with Goldman Sachs? Or get them on the floor of the NYSE? No. So if a recruit asks "does it matter for corporate America where you go to school?" I'm going to share my experiences going through the system.

Mike,
For some, this message will be redundant and for that we apologize. For others this will be the first time you are becoming aware of this. We are revamping our d-base and some people were inadvertantly left off some of the initial emails.
In brief, Coach Corrigan will be leading a contingent of our players on a networking trip this Thursday to NYC to tour a variety of firms. This is the 4th year of this program and has/will include stops in Chicago and San Francisco in past years.
The culmination of the day will be a reception at the New York Athletic Club from 6pm-8pm on Thursday. NYAC is located at 180 Central Park South and ALL alums are welcome. There will be light hors d'oevres and an open bar. the cost for the reception is $75.
We hope you can make it, if you can PLEASE EMAIL our Director of Lacrosse Operations, Bill Milone at MILONE.1@ND.EDU to let him know you will be attending. If you have already registered/RSVP'ed then there is no need to let him know. But if this is the first you are hearing about it please contact him ASAP so we can revise our head count to NYAC.
Again, we apologize for this late notice and hope you can join us. Feel free to share this with fellow supporters of ND Lacrosse and former players.
Thanks, Coach Byrne
