I know it's public dude, but the point is there's no reason whatsoever for the ridicule. All I do is make videos talking about the Irish. If that's considered pathetic and deserving of ridicule by some anonymous people on a message board who are supposed to be my own brethren(Notre Dame fans) then our society is in a pretty sad state. All I do is talk about the Irish and what I think might happen in a game and I'm mocked, attacked and laughed at for it. That makes no sense.

It makes total sense. You act like just because we all root for the same team you are excluded from criticism. Its like saying just because you are my friend or brother we cannot disagree or fight at times. I beat up my brother a bunch... I also had his back when he needed it. I told him he was an A$$ when he was and told him jokes were retarded when they were retarded... Go Irish!!

There are pros and cons when you put yourself out there. You are not immune to criticism just because you think you are. You put yourself out there to be criticized. People are all flawed and are predictably unpredictable. If you can’t handle the critics stops making videos.

For years the biggest complaint from recruits, and some former Irish coaches willing to speak off the record, has been the lack of involvement from the head coach.

Basically all of the reporters have hinted at this over the years without getting this specific. Not surprising at all. Also, feels bad. Get on the horn man, it's like 50% of the job.

especially since assistants come and go so often as the head coach you have to have a relationship with these kids to keep them on board.
