I was once tempted to start compiling his worst ever takes, but ultimately decided to avoid the risk of brain damage.

I'm only doing it because he called my take earlier that, koon knows I love him...when he's not insisting upon his bad takes.

One of my "Rainy Day" projects at work is to do an "Old Takes Exposed" thread.

Maybe it should be a "drink alcohol on the couch while watching football" project, though.

I would love this. Please excoriate me. Sadly my "Julian Love is a future stud" take never made it to IE. Only gramps heard that one

Perused the old 2016 Coaching Changes thread and found this gem. LOL

I could care less about pissing contests between guys who cover ND, but I'll defend Driskell in that strictly from an X's and O's standpoint, he's the only guy in the ND media that I know of who has coached college football.

Coaching at Defiance don't mean shit. I know plenty of guys who coach at that level and there's plenty of arm chair QBs out their with same level of knowledge.

My $$$ is that Coach D's source was Long. Connect the dots between what has been going on and the hit piece after Stanford on Quinn. Me thinks Coach D is salty and is slamming the rest of the staff (his note on Phil included) as they won't talk to him much. Just a hunch.

If there is one thing we can be certain of post ESP, is that the staff is keenly aware of what’s being said on Twitter and message boards. Driskell might need to find another gig, lol.

Which school doesn't really impact my thought process. Whether he was at Defiance or a bigger school, he's got far more hands on experience in film breakdown, running practices, game plans, and overall coaching than any of the guys at the other sites.

All of us are armchair QB's. My philosophy is, "if you haven't built a bridge, don't tell the bridge builder how to do his job."

I must've missed something. What was said on ESD?

Jamie Uyeyama played and coached college football. He's very good at this job. You should give him a chance as he's the best in the business and easy to read.

Until you hire me...

But seriously, I trust the work done at ISD from a professional standpoint, but it's hard to do so with other sites. I would always use IE as the best ND message board though because it's a bit more personalized, I appreciate the layout and the moderating (totally not biased, I swear), and the fact that even though ISD has great info that you'll only see there and you have guys on the trail responding to some of your questions...you also have NDNation type guys who absolutely destroy threads by making a hundred posts about the same crap all the time.... For news though there really is no better.

but my point is just because someones built a bridge doesnt make it a good bridge. there could still be some bridge building scholar out there that could explain it just as good.

Theres a reason Driskell isn't still coaching...

Is it just me or is Pod Like a Champion impossible to listen to? Zero content, just zero. He spent 10 mins talking about Drew Pyne and said the same thing over and over and over.
