ND was so close w/ Thomas Graham and Jevon Holland. They both really liked ND... and both have 3 Int's.

Oregon's Nickel/Dime DB is Haki Woods from South Bend Washington

Hell yeah he is!!

It is kinda odd to see Washington produce more major D1 players/NFL players than Penn. Haki Woods went to a JUCO first and worked his way to Oregon. Good for him. I'm a proud Panther Alum

Went to ISU and played for Sanford's Dad first and then out here to Arizona at Pima CC down in Tucson. Was committed to Zona until the coaching shake up.

Speaking of Penn. 2020 OG Tate Johnson who transferred from Penn down to Georgia power Callaway HS had no offers when he left Indiana. Now he has 12 DI's including Florida. Ole Miss, Purdue and Mizzou. Never heard a thing about him from the ND analysts.

Because this guy:

Is now this guy:

OJO-gsps_400x400.jpg

Donte Williams is an amazing recruiter. What he did under a dysfunctional program at Nebraska was nothing short of impressive. There are some guys who, when they are fired or let go, they should pick up a job in 15 minutes and he’s one of them. Demetrice Martin, Donte Williams, and Dameyune Craig were all free agents this past offseason and were no brainer hires for recruiting (I’m sure there are more but that’s just off the top of my head). I’m happy BK is shopping in that aisle for coaches where he'll go anywhere for a coach and not just in his buddy system (Terry Joseph last off-season).

My biggest fear is Jimmy Lake gets the SC job next year and he hires Coach Meat for his DC and Williams for the CB's. In one cycle, they'd have the second best roster in LA, just ahead of the Chargers. I'm not sure if that needs italics.

Wandale Robinson just committed to UK... if Stoops finds a decent QB, they could have a legitimately good thing going on in the SEC East.

(They are a total fraud this year. Way too one-dimensional. UGA is gonna beat them by 28 this weekend. Terry Wilson is a nice athlete, but a bad QB.)

Robinson is a really good addition for Stoops. Explosive player at a skilled position. But I agree. They have such a good offensive line but TD Terry is just not a good QB. Kinda sad given the fact that Snell is a great RB. And their defense is really good this year but without some help they aren't going to be able to hang with Ga.

Amazing how much better a kid can become once the move to FL, GA or TX.

Oregon

Oregon

After Mario Cristobal took over when Willie Taggart made an abrupt exit after one year in Eugene, Cristobal salvaged the 2018 despite Taggart poaching some players. Many of the Oregon coaching staff were given promotions or raises in new contracts evidencing a commitment by the University. The 2018 Class was ranked thirteenth nationally and second in the Pac 12.

This year, with twenty-one commits averaging 0.9144 per recruit, the Ducks' '19 class currently ranks #1 in the Pac 12 and #4 in the nation. Thirteen of their twenty-one recruits are rated as 4*s. Twelve of the recruits are from California including four from Mater Dei. Their class also includes Sean Dollars, the #1 rated APB, Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu the #1 rated JUCO OT, Elijah Blades the #1 rated JUCO CB and Mykael Wright the 5th rated CB.

Donte Williams was added to the coaching staff in January to coach CBs. He coached at Nebraska for one year until Scott Frost became their new HC. Williams was the primary or contributing recruiter for gaining verbal commitments from four stars Tyjon Lindsey (WR), Elijah Blades (CB), Chase Williams (CB), Brendan Radley-Hiles (CB), Mario Goodrich (CB) and Jamire Calvin (WR). Lindsey was the only one of those who ended up signing with Nebraska but left the program in October. The three CBs other than Blades and where they ended up were: Goodrich signed with Clemson, Radley-Hines signed with Oklahoma, Chase Williams signed with USC.

At some point, Vince Marrow is gonna get frustrated with how many studs he reels in and then leave. Starting to feel for that dude cause Nebraska just stole a stud RB from them.

Robinson is probably gonna play WR for Nebraska, but in the mold of Rondale Moore where he’s on the field doing a little bit of everything.

Pretty sure that’s what Frost sold him on to get the commitment flip.

With the commitment of the No. 1 ranked player, Kayvon Thibodeaux (Oaks Christian), with twenty commits and is ranked fourth nationally in 247. One five star, twelve four stars, seven three stars. Five Oregon recruits rank higher than the Irish's highest ranked recruit.

They've had two decommits in the last month - Jeremiah Criddell, S (4*) and Joey Capra (3*). Capra decommited after his brother, Jacob, decided to transfer from the Ducks.

Hmmmm, I'll keep my eye on Oregon. It's weird seeing a program put out a mediocre product and recruit this well.

Yep, there is weird stuff going on at Oregon. Both basketball and football. They adopted a win at all costs approach many years ago, they just had to take a break once they got caught.

WR Arjei Henderson committed to UF over FSU. Right after that occurred, Deion Sanders ran 3 FSU commits up to the commitment lounge, while the game was still being played, to brag FSU. Deion clearly trying to recruit for FSU while holding a coaching position at the UA Game.

Is a recruiting upset about to go down in Knoxville? Going into today, it seemed like Henry To'ot'o was headed to play for Saban. Now crystal balls are coming in for Tennessee.
