I don't understand how this works or how you guys are viewing this, but I'm shocked Pinocchio made it to the elite 8, and surprised Beauty and the Beast did.

Beauty and the Beast can EASILY win a legit Disney ranking... it's an all timer... I went Little Mermaid simply because it's a serious 'thing' in our family... it was my nicece's favorite movie ever, we lost her to a murder some years back. I was on the Ariel ride at Disneyland just earlier this week... I teared up thinking about how much she would have loved it.

With that said, Beauty is a Giant among Disney films, I know wiz has disagreed with this but I've seen many 'experts' state Belle is THE Disney princess and B&B is THE Disney movie.

If I were to honestly sit back and consider simply what are the best movies Disney has ever produced... forgetting the importance of Snow White or Mermaid or anything like that, just best movie from start to finish, nothing else mattering, I'd say your final two nailed it, and flip a coin from there.

Haven't seen it. I'm of the general opinion the quality of movies produced has taken a major sh!t in the past few years, so unless there's a "must see", I probably haven't see it. And the titles have gotten so stupid. The Shape of Rain? 3 Billboard of Nebraska, or whatever?

3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a dark comedy by an Irish playwright. It's pretty damn good too, way better than the Shape of Water.

In all seriousness this makes me wish my bracket had saved. I'm pretty sure I would've won because I had B&tB winning (because its pretty close to the perfect animated movie and was insanely groundbreaking from a technology perspective at the time), but had classics like Snow White and Pinocchio going much further than she did.
