Though my eyes were playing tricks watching the Miami game. Then I counted. The 10 players on the court for 2 teams are wearing at 7 different color schemes of footwear. It's like watching a pick up game.

That's pretty much right. They never wore the blue ones that are in the photo...just the white ones, which are much less offensive. As I read the article, it wasn't a contractual obligation. But they were trying to play nice with Adidas.

My best friend and HS teammate Nate Hicks who is redshirting this year plays for FGCU. I'm so happy for him and the team they deserve the spotlight. When I went to see them play earlier this year I had no idea what to expect, but they were just as explosive and talented as they've shown themselves to be in the tournament.

The one thing that I liked even more than their skills on the court was how nice and down to earth the players were. Chase Fieler and Christophe Varidel are two of the coolest kids I've hung out with in a long time and I'll be cheering for them the rest of the way.

So with the Sweet 16 set, how is everyone doing in the Pickem? It's hard for me to know who is who with bracket names different than screen names. I'm doing ok myself, but have too many fragile picks needed (Cuse over IU, Duke over Louisville) to stay near the top.

Has anyone seen the pictures of FGCU campus. Literally a tropical resort, their dorms are literally on a beach and each one has a resort like pool.

FGCU's campus is actually like 5 miles from the Beach.

The Dorms are in the top Left of the screen. FGCU put sand in on a man made lake to create their "beach"

My teacher was a counselor at a Basketball Camp with Andy Enfield. He said he was a shooting instructor in the NBA and learned a lot about the game. He was invited to go to the game by Andy.

Texas A&M Corpus Cristi has a bit of that going on too... the campus is it's own island.
