I am so happy now. Duke is the only team I dislike that's left in the tournament.

Title, out of curiosity, how far did you have Butler going this year? I've always pulled for them since their first title run. You know more about the team than most here. I had them going Elite 8 pretty much just based off of Brad Stevens and Rotnei. They really should have beat Marquette.

Sweet 16, losing to Miami. To be perfectly honest, this Butler team was one of the least talented in a decade here. It was an amazing coaching job by Stevens all year. We didn't have a D1-caliber point guard (Barlow & Rotnei aren't PGs & Aldridge is awful), we relied on young raw players like Woods and Jones, and we still won 25 or 26 games. It was an amazing year. Now that I see Cuse beats IU and Miami plays like garbage against Marquette, I think if Davidson doesn't throw that ball away, Butler is a Final Four team. It's disappointing to think about that, but I have high expectations every year.

Nice to get your insight. I just trust in Brad Stevens so much, its hard to pick against them in March. I didn't think they were particularly talented outside of Rotnei either, I was hoping he would carry them.

That guy from kansas that took the last shot is stupid. He had time to drive up the middle and took a terrible 3 shot i hope they lose.

I hate Michigan. Absolutely hate that evil, insidious institution.

Nothing in this world makes my blood boil more than skunkbears winning anything.

I feel you, i just about put a hole in the wall of my buddies dorm after that. They were all rooting for Michigan since they had them on their brackets. It was terrible

Rotnei did his best against Marquette. It's a bummer the seniors had to go out like that.

Then why was it called a foul? It was away from the ball with one player making "incidental" contact. I thought Johnson closing his hand into a fist was cause for ejection. What basketball move calls for a closed fist below the waist?

On the game tying OT shot UM's #4 tries to set up a pick for Burke at the far side of the key. He didn't have position and was not set when the KU player ran him over with both going flying to the floor. Incidental contact? No, #4 effectively took out the man leaving Burke unimpeded. The collision took place before the shot. #4's pick was clearly intentional. Either he was fouled if he WAS set or he committed the foul if he wasn't.

If FGCU is going to win, this can't be a half court game. They have to push the ball.

When G'twn, Nova, ND, Pitt, et al exited early there were posters here commenting on the Big East being overrated.

They put 3 in the Elite 8, at least one in the Final Four, with a possibility of a Final Four pairing.

Not too shabby for a dead conference.

“@JayBilas: Final Four berths since 2003: Big East (11); Big Ten (7); Missouri Valley (1). National Titles since 2003: Big East (3); B10 and MVC: (0).”

Big East is overrated.

2 current BE but future ACC teams in the final four. The new ACC is going to be the unquestioned #1 conference and it won't even be close.

Suprised no one has brought this up:

Last horrific injury in the tournament? DaSean Butler (WVU)? Against? Duke.

Kinda wierd
