I thought it was worth a bump after someone posted this article on ISD.

Sergio Perkovic stands out in Brother Rice win | The Detroit News | detroitnews.com

It's going to be very interesting to see if he decides to pack on some pounds and play football or stick strictly to lacrosse. He's rated the #5 DE in Michigan right now by Scout and has a future as a 3:s: OLB if he decides to get up to 250 with his athleticism. He has the frame to do it too... very lean right now. Won't have any impact if he decides to stay at 220 and focus on lacrosse.

Fun fact of the day.... was rated the #6 football player in Michigan by Rising Stars Recruiting (a service that seems to focus strictly on the state of Michigan but it appears only evaluates people who go to one of their camps). While I don't put much weight at all in someone I've never heard of, he was rated higher than 3 Michigan State commits and 1 Michigan commit:

His Brother Rice teammate Jon Rescke

Riley Norman

Wyatt Shallman

and Gerald Holmes

So it'll be interesting to see if tries to play 2 sports or not. The biggest thing that will hold him back will be his weight... probably needs to be 25+ lbs heavier to be an impact D1 football player at OLB.

was playing in the AAFL semi finals there at the weekend on NFL network. He was on Mike Vick's team. Each Pro/Fomer Pro team is required to have a former pro athlete who didn't play football.

Jimmy Clausen was starting qb for one of the teams.

Jonas Gray was on there too. TBH watching the amateurs play is more fun as their playbooks are more creative and they try and lateral for more yardage every play. Half the "Pro" teams dont seem to understand the rules
