For all you iPhoner's do you guys like it?

I downloaded mine about an hour ago and I think it's alot quicker and simpler than iOS 6. So far I'd say it's a definite upgrade.

I haven't had a chance to download it yet, but one of my friends has had the beta for about a month. From what I've seen it seems alot simpler, and the design is beautiful.

According to GBDomer, it's pretty cool:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Everyone IOS7 is sweeeeet. Had it for 2 months already though</p>— Michael Sullivan (@Sully1921) <a href="https://twitter.com/Sully1921/statuses/380403175821287424">September 18, 2013</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

But he knew that months before you did.

Yes I was that guy who downloaded it a couple months ago. The beta version. It's sweet but I'm kind of sick of it already

A friend of mine has a DevKit for Apple Software, so he let me download IOS7 beta that came out months ago...I've loved it ever since

Are you guys hinting that my Mac Plus is obsolete?

Are 3.5 inch floppy disks recyclable?

it looks pretty cool. i just downloaded it about an hour ago. i like the functionality. havent played with siri too much. but i like the flick to close. it just seems layered which is nice.

im running on the 4s 16gb though, so some apps seem to be running slower. and it needs 3.1GB free to work, even though the download is only 700 some odd megs. thats weird. had to make some adjustments to photos and music to clear up the space.

It's meh so far. Although, that could be out of frustration since it took forever to download.

I downloaded the new system, but haven't heard much about it. I discovered the control center, which seems pretty awesome/convenient, but I have no idea what "flick to close" means or what "airdrop" is and what it means by "discoverable."

I only have an 8GB iPhone so I had to delete a ton of apps, pictures, and songs. That right there got me pretty pi$$ed. Couple that with three failed downloads tonight and I'm just beyond frustrated. I'm kinda meh about it. I don't like that I need those 3GB free. I lost so many apps just to have it, and I'm not sure it's worth it to me so far.

Want to sell them? Running low...

Mebee. The Mac Plus still works. I think. It's been in a closet for close to 30 years. There are certain disks I'd like to retain for sentimental and/or practical reasons. Hell, somewhere I have a disk that maps out all the strange circuits I put in place when I wired a detached garage many years ago. It might come in handy for Inspectors or new owners of my house.

I have a "three way" switch that controls my back porch light and a light on the side of my garage from either my back door or the garage. Then there's the switch at my back door that controls an outlet in the garage intended for turning on or off an engine heater in the winter, something most wouldn't understand, but a handy thing in MN. I have visions of the classic new owners flipping a switch. scratching their heads and wondering "what does this do?"

I also have a number that contain business and household records that I won't part with, for whatever asinine reason.

I do have a box load I'd be willing to let you have for just the shipping cost ...

Not 100% positive on this but i believe those 3GBs go back to available space after the update is installed. Bc i had to delete some stuff to clear enough room on my ipad but after the download was finished i checked my storage and it says i have 3GBs usable.

I doubt they would force users to forfeit 20-30% of their storage for an ios

Just checked my phone, the space I gave up for the update is available again so you should be good.

You guys are correct. Just irks me I had to delete apps in the first place only to reinstall them. First world problems

I know flick to close is basically if you double tap the home button, it brings up your open apps, and you basically just flick it upwards and it closes

The icons look a lot like the Windows 8 tiles. Funny how Microsoft and Apple keep looking more and more alike. Neither will admit they have copied from the other.

The OS7 is a lot quicker, but like all Apple OS updates it screwed with some of my settings and couldn't just load the OS. I had 8 emails before I loaded it and now I have over 400 from a long time ago. It also started i-Cloud which I don't use and tried to change settings on my iPad and I haven't upgraded it yet.

You mean the feature Android users have had since Ice Cream Sandwich came out in October 2011, i.e. two years ago?

;)

Try going to Settings-> Notification Center-> Messages

Make sure "Show on Lock Screen" is enabled.

Hey now, IOS has always had the task-killer app like that, you just did it with an "x" rather than flicking it upward. So what if it took apple two years to catch up on closing things in a "fun" way haha
