Season/Bowl Predictions- Post Miami

We all saw the butt whooping, the improvement by EG, the running game, so ill say 11-1 and a trip to the Fiesta Bowl. As we enter the second half of the season, what are your predictions?

We don't have to be lost a game either. It could happen at 12-0. The other teams would get a free bump from an extra game, their conference championship game.

According to Sagarin last week, ND would be a 5 favorite over SU in South Bend. Definitely not a gmme game.

Stanford is certainly capable of beating us. They may well be the most physical team we play all year. Did you watch what they did to USC? Win that one and I'll feel comfortable talking about BCS bowls.

Stanford, Oklahoma, and Southern Cal are all very much 50/50.

9-3 would be pretty unfortunate, but certainly possible.

If the Irish can roll into Norman at 7-0, this season would be amazing.

No. The only teams that can beat us is us. OKLA and USC are both teams capable of being beat, as they've shown this year a couple times. USC of course won't drop the passes MIAMI did last night, but I think after the first series of last nights game against Miami, opened our DB's eyes and really prepared us for what we will see against USC and OKLA.

Though OKLA I don't think will be as successful as many think, there very young and unexperienced on offense.

The way Stanford has been playing the past couple weeks, and how we came off our bye week, I see us taking it to Stanford. They look pretty beat up.

How the hell can anyone say only such and such team can beat us? IMO anyone on our schedule can beat us. This is college football. Anything can happen.

Remember BC '93 the next time anyone wants to make a comment like that. That type of attitude makes our fanbase look idiotic and delusional. I'm sure FSU were saying that exact same thing about teams like NC State, and today they are the joke of the CFB world.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the South Korean constitution grants citizenship to all Koreans. So any defectors from the north are welcomed with open arms. I think that is pretty cool.

Fiesta Bowl against WVU is what's currently up on ESPN. That game could induce heart attacks. Unless of course the Miami game was an indication of what ND can do against a team with a HIGH OCTANE offense with no defense. In which case I would say bring em on!
