I haven't seen the Snyder cut yet, but I'm going into it very skeptical and feeling set up to hold a grudge against it.
It seems like everyone scoffed at the original Justice League, which to be fair really wasn't great, but it also wasn't terrible. But since the Snyder cut became first a myth and then a reality, it seems like the criticism towards the original went way over the top, as if the DC fanboys are using this as a "Messiah" moment for Snyder. And I know he left the movie in the first place because of some tragic shit...
But I feel like Snyder was set up by the fanboys with preemptive credit, simply because the cut ACTUALLY exists, and so everyone is prepared to say how good it is, even if it really isn't that much better.
Also: the fucking thing is four hours long! OF COURSE there is going to be a more coherent narrative! There better be with that much screen time!
So I'm going into it almost with my mind made up that I'm going to be underwhelmed lol. I hope it blows me away, instead.
