'He looks like an SEC linebacker'.
He said it, not me. I'm not making it up. I'm not trolling, it was a legit statement to be offended about. Our best linebacker in decades looks like, not a great sec backer, but simply a starter. So this is the case or our team isn't as talented as we think. Neither is very good.
You guys are starting to pile on and reading into things now so you can getme banned.
No offense Stormy, but for you to maintain that as a quote you need to do this :
" . . . he looks like an SEC linebacker!"
Because it was purposely said with emphasis as a cliché, just like "twice the athlete," and was the second half of a statement. THE FIRST HALF STATED THAT HE WAS TWICE THE ATHLETE OF A LINEBACKER THAT COULD HAVE PLAYED FOR ANY SCHOOL IN THE NATION. Otherwise a person is taking that half out of context, as you did.
Let alone the fact that even the author used the article to frame the reference, comparing Smith to the very best of the SEC linebackers (ever.) Get it?
So that is not what the article said (
at all). It was half of the quote that started out how this coach thought he was twice the athlete of T'eo, and then the article immediately went on to stress the comparison between Smith, and the best SEC linebacker ever.
That is why people think you are a troll. It could as well be a learning disability, stupidity, or ignorance.
Only time will tell.
