it was me just poking fun at you because it was an espn writer...you work at espn....and the surfing the net thing was just a ha ha jab because of you posting you wanted me to take down a non nude girl photo and wooly harassing you about getting off the forum at work...NONE of this was mean spirited ...all in fun....i don't ever recall 1x in my life of posting here i have ever meant anything to be rude towards someone

Doesn't everyone post from work?

No, I post from endless detention. Asst. Principal Vernon makes it difficult but I make it work.

COMPLETELY off topic but it drives me nuts that he (and other professional WRITERS) butchered the use of the word "cache." A "cache" is a hidden store of something, such as weapons or treasure. "Cachet" is the correct word when talking about the perceived prestige of FSU's ACC schedule, e.g. "a Rolex watch adds a certain cachet to his appearance."

You bring tears to my eyes, Mr.Wizard. My only complaint is that you used the past tense of "butcher." The butchery, sadly, is somewhat pervasive and ongoing.

Oh, and do I need to repeat my lesson vis-à-vis
your vs you're vs yore???

I will eagerly await that lesson. I will not anxiously await it.

Anxiety is self-defeating and unwarranted. Good plan.

Eager is just plain silly. Save it for something worthwhile.

My jabs and body blows are random and unpredictable.

My thoughts and prayers for Kyle and his family. Kick cancers butt, Kyle!

Definitely praying for Kyle! Great guy and a lot of fun. Was glad he was able to spend a few years in the League before his knees were done. Hear that he is a great GA. He roomed with Kuntz and Paris in Knott while I was there. He also may or may not have tombstoned me in the Knott 3A wrestling match for section dominance...

Another funny story from that year- Kuntz got one of those high altitude tents (may have been shown to be worthless since then, who knows) to sleep in. It was supposed to help his lung capacity similarly to if he had been training at altitude. Only the air just recirculated and sat in there. Some bug got in there and it ended up just making whoever was in it get sick. Needless to say, it got thrown away.

Side note- Kuntz was somewhat scary when mad...especially if he found you drinking beers in his high altitude tent.

It will me....I am mentally preparing to watch the Irish get crushed in this game. I know I know, I'm being a negative Nelly but considering I will be there surrounded by FSU fans I need to not get my hopes up.

Yeah, you can't find jobs anywhere. Unless you're willing to work 40 hours a week.

I live and work in the Michigan. I have no clue what our unemployment rate is now, but I believe it has set some records in the last few years. However within a stones throw of where I live there are 100+ open manufacturing positions that most can't pass a drug test for, and the rest refuse to actually work. It's pathetic.

I have worked with a lot of manufacturing companies over the last few years from Michiana all the way to Maine. This is a recurring theme. I hate hearing people talking about there not being jobs. I know tons of companies in my area that will train anyone with work ethic (i.e. will show up for freaking work) and pay them over $20 an hour once they are trained. If someone is willing to run a CNC machine, weld or simply get their hands dirty... then there are jobs in spades all over the country.

Pathetic is an understatement.

I have this argument all the time. Drives me crazy. And the worst part is half of the people that have those 20 dollar a hour jobs you speak of are only worth 3.
Its sad for the people that are good workers. Some of the people that work for me are worth triple what I pay them but I cant afford to pay them that because I have to pay a bunch of people triple what they are worth. And every business owner I talk to says the exact same thing.

My favorite game of the Kelly era. Complete "holy shit did we really just win?" feeling at the end. Still remember texting my brother when Brindza made it a 10-point game with ~5 mins left and he and I were both just in shock.

Made so much better by Musberger and Herbie saying our soft coverage on D had no chance of working after OU's first 2 possessions, only to have Cierre rip off the long TD and our D to dominate the rest of the way.

I have been trying to hire a service technician since April. Most of my interviews are with people trying to meet their interview quota for unemployment. Offered the job to two people(after about 35 interviews) and they both failed the drug test. SMH

Looks like Charlie Fiessenger, Tyler Plantz and Connor Cavalaris all received scholarships today.

Congrats to them!

Analyzing the schedule, it looks like there will be 6 night games. That has to be a team record.
