You shouldn't have to recalibrate your TV to be able to make out what's happening in an episode. That's a production issue.

You know, I thought this was at least a universal complaint. It's pretty obvious that for 90%+ of people watching, the episode was really, really dark to the point it was hard to make out what was going on in some scenes.


But here come the people who apparently think this show can not do any wrong...

I would call this a set up episode for episode 5, but a lot of shit does actually happen.

I think people will like it more than the other episodes this season, but a few minor details will spark anger (which I’ll elaborate on after this ep).

Overall thought it was a great episode...

What I suspect some will be mad about is that Rhagal magically gets hit by 3 bolts that had to have been curved around a mountain while 20 bolts magically miss Drogon.


Excited to see Mad Queen Dany next week.

I thought they were setting up a red weeding event at the beginning. Really felt ominous watching everyone drink.

I wonder if Euron noticed anything odd? Tyrion pled for the life of Cersei's child and they haven't seen each other since before Euron/Cersei's hookup.

I wonder if somehow Euron turns on her? Or maybe that was just overlooked. I hope not or that's just sloppy.

I think they could have killed Tyrion there and it would have been a great way for him to go out.

Surprised by the dragon going down. A little disappointed that there wasn’t more carnage that happened afterwards.

Realistically, how can Cersei be defeated? She has numbers and a fantastic dragon defense. I'm sure the show will find a way to take her down... but she should win 9 out of 10 times.

I hate we lost a dragon, but wasn't really looking forward to seeing Jon ride again anyway.

Not too much to complain about. Still shit use of dragons. Why not attack the fleet from the rear. CL can turn out 20+ giant cross bows but WF couldn't make one for last week.

I called Messandei last word to my buddies real time.

Glad Arya and the Hound are back together. Some of my favorite moments are those two.
Tormund is definitely coming South. Sansa and BoT too. Glad JL is heading back too. No way he's not a part of the KL ending.

It just dawned on me that we're 100% gonna have a Maury/Jerry Springer fight between Jaime Lannister and Euron Greyjoy over who the father is

Episode should have ended with Cersei asking Dany to choose between her Tyrion and Missandei. Would have been a nice cliffhanger.

The first half hour was weird and I definitely got a Red Wedding vibe too. Thought something was going to happen. They basically wrote off Tormund and Sam but Sam got literally no time besides one convo with Jon. Not sure I get that. Jon couldn't at least pet Ghost?

I thought the Dany turning crazy and everyone wondering if they are better off killing her was handled well considering they are doing it all in one episode but it's rushed.

The battle tactic stupidity continued and Tyrion having basically the same "save your child" convo with Cersei didn't really resonate.

Episode highlight was the dragon getting fucked up and anything with the Hound.
