And it certainly has NOTHING at all to do with the fact that men are bigger, faster, and stronger than women. No criminal takes into account whether or not they are going to get away with it.
In reality, the idea that men commit more criminal acts seems exactly what everyone everywhere would expect. Men are more physical and aggressive. If all of life was bureaucratic boardroom meetings--which it seems to be in many places these days--women might eventually take over. But as soon as things get harry, they'll remember why its nice to have some men around.
As someone whose seen war up close, it seems to me that the more life becomes bureaucratic boardroom meetings and the less it becomes about raw physical strength and force, the better off humanity will be. Which is -at its core- essentially what #killallmen is about. It's obviously satirical, and it plays on the perception of masculinity being linked to virtuous violence. Obviously we cannot escape raw force, but to the extent we can minimize its influence and stop glorifying it, we'll be better off. #killallmen.
