I wonder if their streaming service is going to start offsetting the cable subscribers they're losing.

How much do they get from a general cable package right now?

If it's less than $5, then they're already winners with the digital platform... unless nobody is signing up.

I'll be signing up simply for the USL/MLS live-game coverage.

I thought the idea was bad from the start...

Either start it at 5 am and go til 9 or make it an evening show. Seems like most their demographic they are going for is at work and not watching tv from 7-10

Meaningless statistic. It's expected that an early April show would do worse than an average show over the entire month. The NBA Playoffs haven't started yet.

It should be a damn good product. I've seen live demos and I'm excited. There aren't many sports fans who are going to like everything it has to offer, but there's going to be enough content to justify $5 from a lot of people.

Everyone go sign up for ESPN+ right now.

No

With YoutubeTV, I have no need for whatever bullshit Disney is pumping. I get all ESPN channels, 2 MLB TV channels, and a bunch of other sports networks I'll never watch.

I have little interest in giving ESPN my money, nor do I have faith that the content would be quality.
Everyone: 30 for 30 is the best thing about ESPN.

ESPN: Here's a cheap product with exclusive 30 for 30s and the full back catalog.

Everyone: Wtf I hate 30 for 30 now.

Is ESPN paying you on commission now?
Not at all. Ask me what I think about "Get Up" or the current Wednesday Night Baseball crew.

I'm not cheerleading on this one, I honestly believe there's at least $5 a month worth of good content on this.

I'll be signing up once Cincinnati has MLS games on the schedule, or when the price is threatening to go up, whichever comes first.

Is the baseball schedule up yet? I don't wanna sign up if the daily game is only awful teams, or the Cubs.

The entire MLS Live package is moving to ESPN+. The $80 package is dropping to $60 for the same content.

wtf!?! really?

Also, a little "what grinds my gears' fusion here... It grinds my gears when someone uses the phrase, "Greatest of all time" in regards to some thing that has been around for a shorter amount of time than I've been alive...

I set Youtube TV to record every 30 for 30. That's the only thing I watch on ESPN other than College Football and occasionally Sunday Night Baseball.

Sunday Night Baseball, such a warm blanket... Wiz, do us all a solid and make sure they don't move SNB to some extra pay service exclusively...

Also, what's got to happen for your boys to bring back National Hockey Night... this theme still brings back the warm/fuzzies for me every time I hear it:

Nah dawg, this is incremental.

E+ will have a life NHL game every night.
