Could we hire Herman as OC? Or do we only hire ND guys after a "national search" (lol).

Sark to UT is so 2020. This doesn't bode well for 2021.

Texas is a fickled bunch. Herman got a Gatorade bath for his bowl win by about a week ago and now he’s looking for a job in place of Sark.

Sark to Texas strikes me as odd because he’s so damn similar to Herman.

Yeah the whole story seems to stupid to be true. Sark didn't do squat as a HC and calling plays for Bama doesn't strike me as a qualifier for a sudden elevagtion to a top tier HC job.

But alcoholism is not incurable. He's beaten that it seems. If you can work for Saban without drinking...

But, you notice a theme here. Michigan and UT announce major changes after ESD. Sark doesn’t take job until after CFP. If only Lea and Vandy would’ve been so kind. Though it didn’t really end up mattering.

Sark was poor as a head coach. I don’t get the love for him just because he can get a bunch of Uber talented offensive players to put up a lot of points. Was mediocre at Washington and USC. How many Bama assistants have to fail before people realize it’s Saban.

People mock Kiffin for failing upward, but Sark is the poster child for it.

Dude has now been at the helm of three MAJOR programs, including two blue bloods. Its absolute insanity.

Part of me is actually pissed Texas didnt call BK.

Sark’s ceiling to me is a great OC and not the type of guy who is going to be able to turn around a program like Texas. I wish him nothing but the best as he was good for my school but somehow I think this mirrors Kirby at Ga. Solid but not able to elevate a program in to that upper tier of programs on a consistent enough basis to be a threat most years.

This should be interesting to see how this goes. As everyone said he struggles as a head coach. I wonder if he takes any of his offensive coaches from Bama with him. Recruiting should be much easier.

Idk. How is recruiting to Texas easier than USC?

Maybe he's finally got it all figured out but I am looking forward to more of the same from Texas. 8 wins babyyyy

Not sure why everyone gets duped into Bama assistants. He is calling plays for the most talented roster ever constructed. He’s not some savant.

Doubt he takes anyone with him. Sark knows Saban’s position on that and I don’t think Sark would want to do that to the one guy who believed in him and gave him a chance. Sark isn’t Kirby or Pruitt- or at least he doesn’t strike me as that way. With that said, Jeff Leeby you have a call on line 1.

Right it’s an existential question. Which came first? Brady or Belichek ?

Hopefully Sark locks down the state of Texas. We haven’t really benefited from Texas recruiting too much but Alabama and OSU especially have been ransacking the state.
