This discussion happens every time he's circumvented the permaban. You're absolutely right and allowing him back would just encourage more unwanted people to return. Aren't we glad that Tom Haverford made remarks about Chris Finke to earn his permaban? He would have been insufferable during scUM's run the past couple years.

The problem with ignoring posters is that new people visit this site and they need to know the civil strife that has become IE. The old guard (many of whom have dipped out) taught us now middle aged dudes to put up a staunch fucking fight. That’s why ignore isn’t really a good option.

Someone gotta defend IE against these dipshits. I’m not on frequently enough to fight them all off. Mocking them is my favorite weapon.

The ignore option is only really good if you're trying to ignore someone for creating too many idiotic threads.

Putup and Dingleberry have people arguing with them constantly in every. single. thread. over. the. same. shit.

I like a good troll as much as anyone, but it's silly.
There's a few active members that have staged a comeback after a permaban and changed their whole attitude on the board because they've grown over the years (and stay out of the pol threads)
