Its only odd because of the way you interpreted it. I wasn't singling out Koon in my posting rather giving an overall assessment of the way the board is run in regards to other boards, especially those that are a paid site. This board gets watched by big timers so its important we maintain civility here as it separates us from the 'other' ones.
I don't believe anyone has debated that, I sure haven't. I responded to post(s) commenting on him as a poster, some untrue. Cool story tho
No sir. Qui-Gon was the first of the Jedi to discover the path to immortality through the force. Obi Wan perfected the art, though.
He rediscovered it as it was from the ancient times and was used by both jedi and sith.
Force ghost - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki
Well that goes beyond my film knowledge haha. Episode III makes it seem as if Qui-Gon discovered the trick. Now I'll be reading Wookiepedia for hours.
But either way, my original statement stands. In being banned, Koon has become one with the Force.

And with that, it just got nerdy up in here.

I take the weekend off and come back her top find about 5 pages of more rhetoric that contain maybe two posts of any value. Classic.
Love him, hate him or don't care either way, Koon is in a lot of peoples minds. lol
On advice of counsel, I "plead the fifth."

...which is what a troll wants.
I guess that you were just too busy to watch Star Wars while you rode your high horse to the top of your Ivory tower.
So everyone needs to 'STFU' with their support of Koon or disagreement with his punishment. Yet it seems perfectly fine for the Koon bashers and punishment supporters to continue to post their opinions.
Hahaha...it was a joke (hence the dancing banana). The people I know who watch Star Wars and Star Trek always talk about how they get 'nerdy' or 'geeky' when their friends watch and/or talk about it, in a good way. I've never heard someone get offended like you did.
And no, never rode a horse. Instead of watching Star Wars and memorizing those characters, I was outside playing sports any chance I got. And the movies I did watch weren't sci-fi. Just wasn't my thing. Different strokes.
DO NOT even get me started by comparing Star Wars and Star Tre....... nah just kidding literally 90% of what I say on here is sarcastic. And I wasn't offended even a little bit. If I were I'd attempt to cover my nerdism and prove my masculinity by posting about all the sports stuff I do in my free time.

Fair enough, good post and explanation. People, apparently, take this message board stuff way too serious. But you are right and I understand your point.
ZING!!!!!!
So you've never watched any of the Star Wars?
Hmm. I didn't take that as a zing at all (until your post). Other than quickly talking about what I did as a kid in that post, I don't talk about sports I play in my free time. Not cool to be bagged on and miss the joke LOL.
Oh yeah, I have 4 older brothers so my little brother and I watched what they watched. So I saw the originals when I was a kid, one time each (I remember liking the 2nd one, Empire Strikes Back, the best). Just not enough to know much about them other than the main characters' names. Once I got older and the newer ones came out, I never watched them and had no inkling to. Not ripping anyone who is into it, it's just not my cup of tea.
I actually enjoyed Space Balls much more when I was a kid and watched that a lot of times.

That's arguably the best way to experience the series. Watch the three originals as a kid, and then never watch another Star Wars movie again. The prequels are an abomination.

The prequels have many of the same flaws as the original three. We just overlook the ones that we grew up with. Lucas' screenplays have always been really weak and contrived.
Empire is the best movie by far out of the series because it wasn't a Lucas screenplay.

Ehh 3rd one is a poorly made movie but is more entertaining than Return of the Jedi. 1st and 2nd are just trash.
There are some heavy hitters in the recruiting services' that do check out other sites like this one so, as silly as this may sound, you want to leave a good impression on them.
