Banned Users

Normally I think most bans are kinda stupid and pointless but this one is pretty funny. I have no support for either side or am on anyone's "team" but If Koon and Irishpat wanted to continue their love affair on this site they easily could've without anyone knowing but its hilarious that they had to go around braggin about sneaking back on this site.

Also I guess I'll throw this here too, but is anyone else noticing the site laggin a bit? whenever I click back or something it just goes to a white screen with only the IE banner present.

Been happening to me since during the season. Also, in the last few weeks, my "You last visited" time is always sooner than I actually visited. For instance, I logged on about 9:45pm today for the first time in roughly 24 hours...but it says I visited at 7:47. How am I having phantom visits? And it makes it a pain for clicking on the first unread message.

koon is an idiot who brought nothing to the board that anyone else with $10/mo to spare couldn't bring. His insistence on guerrilla-like and sensationalistic posting may have had it's moment, but it wore thin...and fast. I agree. Overall Koon is a good guy. He reminds me of one of the guys on my staff. He has to interject something into every conversation even if it doesn't concern him or he has no real expertise in that area. Maybe it's some self esteem issue and an underling need to want to be accepted.

Just like all of us, this site won't change whether he is posting or isn't.

Personally, I enjoy a little personality. There's all types on this site. Good guys, dicks, tough guys, peace makers, pacifists, combatants, grammar hammers, conservatives, liberals, lovers, fighters, smart guys, idiots, egomaniacs, kind hearts, pranksters, old school, new school, casual readers, hard core recruiting followers....

The world has all types. So should an internet board. Some irritate me, but even those that do are ND fans (most on here anyway). At the end of the day, the site has an ignore feature (or so I've read). I wish I had an ignore feature for some of my employees, clients, and family.....

I'm perfectly fine with folks getting a time out. 6 months is a little extreme for telling someone how to cheat the system. Maybe I don't know the whole story, or maybe I'm too accepting. IDK. Or, is it really 6 months? Saw someone said he will be back next week, but read not before the kickoff of the 2015 season.

Says the guy with that signature. You hit the nail on the head. This is a chat room that is controlled by 8 or so members. Irishpat added nothing to the conversation, so he's gone. If you don't like it, go to UHND because I'm sure he'd be welcome there. This isn't a democracy. Also, you can say it's obviously a joke with your over the top #freeamerica rhetoric. But there are two problems with that: (1) We've had more bannings because the "totally joking" leader of this "totally sarcastic" movement has now broken the site rules pretty blatently to get around Pats permanent banning, so now we're down one consistent contributor for the offseason; (2) if "Free Pat" was a joke it was one that got old about a year ago. So you're either serious (which would be sad), or you won't stop making a joke that's funny to 5 people, two of which are banned from this site (also sad).

I know I know... very F'ing depressing. Thank Pham for making me do the math.. . I always find myself wishing my spring and summer away. Basketball and baseball just does it do it for me like CFB. Every year I kick off the college football season in Hilton Head. Always sad the summer is ending, but stoked to see the first ND game.

You're entitled to that opinion and I know you're not the only one. I still feel it's unnecessary to express those opinions post-banning.
