I was informed by koon of pats return, and thus laughed and pointed out the ip thing,... I'm guessing he told others as well, and shared more details than what he gave me (only that pat was back) and someone outed him...?

I have little doubt of the veracity of Koon's antics, but no one really articulated how he "helped" Pat circumvent the ban.

I read Pham's post again and did Koon make an account for him in Ohio and gave the details to Pat?

Ha,.. No, the whole,'Koon was active in the whole thing' is news to me... So is the user name pat was using... I liked pat and thought he brought a flavor to the board that is missed, many know that so I guess that inspired koon to reach out to tell me... But I'm not into this whole cloak and dagger stuff or taking this site too seriously so i just laughed at it and moved on... I'm just guessing he told others and shared more with them... I mean, Koon and I hardly interacted with each other at all here, and he told me?

Someone will need to step up the posting to replace Koon as the board troll and resident highlight film critic, lol. The board won't be the same without him and his unique posting style, lol.

JMO, but I bet he will try to circumvent the ban with a proxy or something. Will be 100 million vBucks at 3 to 1 odds. Takers?

My client has served this board honorably and has been awarded reps with distinction. He has not taken the 5th Amendment, as it is his right to. At no time has he ever been anything less than cooperative with this investigation. So with all due respect your honor I think this statement should be read.

Koon and I are actually friends outside of IE, he's a good guy and he gets a bad rap here on IE, deservedly so or not, but he is a good guy.

Hindsight is 20/20 I guess, but looking back through MartyIrish's posts it makes sense I guess that it was Pat. They were a little tamer, but some of the stuff in the Politics thread was a give away. I'm not in there very often though, and it looks like that's where most of his posts were centered.


So....with the Koon gone till the season, who is most likely to be banned next?

so koon created the account as his IP address wasnt banned. Then provided the credentials to IrishPat?

Seems like the only way for this scenario to work.

Guess I just dont see the reward in the time wasted, but to each their own.

Yeah in hindsight it makes sense MartyIrish was Pat. I kept thinking, "who is this guy, and why is he only posting in the political threads..."
