The way you know that it's Ay Tee Ay Tee is that the smaller walker is an AT-ST. Now, you can pronounce that Ay Tee Ess Tee... I challenge anyone to tell me how the fuck some would pronounce the "ST" in the other form.

They're both correct. Some stuffy Imperial officer would say something like "deploy the ay-tee-ay-tees," while a rebel soldier might informally call them at-ats. In the fan community you're much more likely to hear it pronounced at-at.

The Lucasfilm person quoted by Time isn't a source of canon. They're called ay-tee-ay-tee in Battlefront, so take that as the "official" name with at-at being an acceptable in-universe vernacular.

Luke is Rey's father and it's not up for debate.

The fact this is coming from our resident Disney insider I question if you're trying to throw us off the trail...I too surmised that Rey is the daughter of Luke. Since you have the inside info, tell us....is Leia the mother? I want my crazy conspiracy to be true so we have a "WTF?!" moment in Episode VIII.

I think it's pretty obvious. The lightsaber (labeled the "Hero Lightsaber" at the Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney's Hollywood Studios) was built by Anakin, wielded by Luke, and is now Rey's. Wookiepedia calls it the "Skywalker lightsaber." R2-D2 woke up when Rey showed up at the Resistance base. Kylo Ren scared Luke away from the potential power of Skywalker descendants. The evidence goes on and on.

Since you have the inside info, tell us....is Leia the mother? I want my crazy conspiracy to be true so we have a "WTF?!" moment in Episode VIII.

If I had to guess, I'd say we might meet her in Rogue One.

He clarified and said “What I meant was that she doesn’t discover them in Episode VII. Not that they may not already be in her world,”

I'm totally cool with this. I don't want Rey to be related to Han or Luke. I think it's dumb and makes the world seem too coincidental to have everyone related to the same 4 people. That's also why I hate the idea some have floated around that Finn is Lando's kid......why?

Not in Rogue One. It's between Episodes 3 and 4.

I mean obviously gonna go see it in theaters, but still knowing what to expect would suck.

I remember back in the day when I would watch bootleg movies before they were in theaters. I remember seeing an X-Men movie before they had completely edited it. You could still see the wires attached to actors in the action scenes. Although I enjoyed seeing the movie ahead of time. I just always wondered if these individuals get paid or are they just doing it to be pricks.

At least with bootlegs you watch the movie and get the plot.
Releasing the plot outline is just douchey.

I had the big plot twist in Episode 7 spoiled for me while reading comments on an article about Martin Scherkei (whatever name) getting arrested. Some dickbag screen shot the pivotal moment and captioned it with the spoiler. I rarely wish bad things on people, but seriously, there is no reason for it but to be a jerk.
