I don't think Harbaugh's leaving the NFL without getting a ring first. He's come too close too many times. I don't think Les would even consider it unless LSU wants him gone or Michigan offers him an insane deal.... and even then I think they would be LSU without Louisiana talent. (Mediocre coaching - mediocre talent)

Desmond Howard apparently voted Michigan sixth in the country in his AP poll... haha... honestly, if he's gonna go that far he might as well vote them number 1... total half way crook move.

Apparently the situation in San Fran is really, really bad. I don't get it, but supposedly behind closed doors they are at each others' throats.

Him I get, which would be terrible for BK and the staff. But Les Miles? I didn't think he wanted to go back, nor did I think that he would be welcome.

He'll just jump to another NFL gig if that's the case. Dude is meant for the NFL.

Note: this is my opinion and any of this discussion around him is rumor and not fact.

Still, I don't see Harbaugh going back to Michigan. He had some choice words for them during their last search if I recall, I just don't think he wants to be there. If he does have problems with people in the 49ers organization, I would assume they work out their differences if he keeps them in the playoffs or he'll find another job in the NFL.

It's Harbaugh's attitude. He got away with it at Stanford because the players have no leverage. His style works for a couple of years then when it becomes the same thing over and over, the players get fed up. Same reason Larry Brown has moved around so much. Too much of a control freak and wants to grind on every mistake over and over.

On the contrary, I think it would impede his ability (or lack thereof) to coach. I mean, look how Michigan got stomped in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl last year. Clearly the food has a negative impact.

Hoke and michigan fans have always struck me as more of Ryan's Steakhouse or Golden Corral kind of people.
