My complements to Marco Polo. This sure was a pleasant distraction!

Sorry I missed this the first time last Friday, but Wildman you are the dominate one!

just postin' to test out my new signature...

You may want to reconsider using such a large GIF as your signature. Some of our members have older computers/ slow connections, and forcing them to load that on every page you comment on won't make you any friends.

So the Great Sig Gif Purge of 2012 is no longer in order? There's no rules?

No hard and fast rule (yet), since it's possible for members to disable signatures. But few people know that's possible, or how to do it, so we just have a standing call for courtesy.

Re: large animated sigs

Re: large animated sigs

I got mad one day. For me it was more about screen real estate than loading times, but I you can disable them in the user control panel or use third party software, such as adblock.

I see a new large gif sig and I go:

1.) LOL or meh (depending).
2.) Click-click, blocked.
3.) Continue living life.

Consideration would seem to be the respectful thing to do, especially since I prose the people that have the most issues with them are also the ones less likely to be able to combat them as seamlessly without frustration.

Cheers!

So.... People with cool sigs have to suffer the stupidity of people who can't shut off sigs?

How about making a sticky with instructions?

GIF != cool sig.

They're also distracting, and they slow the site down.

Very athletic kid. Gotta chance to see him play basketball last winter. High energy kid that would qualify as big skill for us. Kind of a project for the staff but I think he will fit well for what they want to do. Without reading the article I imagine he'll be an outside backer for them and will be a good guy against the spread offense.

In a nut shell he's the type of kid we'd be excited about if he were Irish. Good pickup for them imo

do you think they have tim allen giving narrated tours?

And Tim Allen's real name? Timothy Alan Dick. Domer, you are a genius! Although Allen went to CMU and graduated from WMU. Hey I wonder if OMM knows him? What chew think?

I'd put this in a "Ohio State Recruiting" Thread but we don't have one so here it is, 2015 OL Sterling Jenkins:

“@LetsGetIt_72: All of the Michigan commits I've met so far are pretty cool guys, while the OSU commits I've met are your typical cocky football players...”

I was reading an article on Shaun Crawford from back in May and came across this:

Michigan’s 2014 recruiting class is expected to be a small one — with just 16 projected commitments — but the number of scholarships available for the 2015 class is even smaller, around 12. That means any player the U-M coaching staff offers at an early stage for 2015 must be a special one.

If that is true, they have like 1-2 spots left in 2014 and only nine spots left in 2015 as they already have three commitments (Campbell, Runyan Jr. and a kicker).

TJ had this to say about the UM BBQ and ND's recruiting efforts going forward:

We had a nice group in June for our own thing, but BK and staff already are planning to make it bigger and, more importantly, more "splashy" -- to the extent possible -- in the years ahead. I think you'll see some creative input here from recent support staff hires, actually. On this and a number of recruiting fronts.

Mods, I'll paraphrase if posting this is a "no-no".
