They're really confident about going up against a 10 win team that blanked them in the last meeting. Also, they haven't had much luck against rivals in the last five years. What makes them think this will be different?

They're scUM fans.

The All or Nothing Show makes them look like complete idiots, its great to watch. Rashan Gary meeting with the academic consellor in episode 1. she asks him if he sits up front in class and he says he sits in the back row so he can sleep. The look on her face, lol its like something out of Last Chance U. The guy is a joke.

he's a 19 year old kid, so chill on calling him a joke maybe? Gary is a good kid, he's not an entitled little shit-head like a Johnny Manziel.

And there's no joke about his game. Gary is a fucking animal on that football field. He's not even remotely close to being as good as he will be. The way he re-shaped his body and the leap he made from year 1 to year 2 was insane. He puts in the work this off-season the sky is the limit for him. The guy is 6'5, 290 pounds without a big gut- dude looks like he's about 240. He can play anywhere along the DL and you can't just run the ball at him like you can under-sized pass rushers- Gary just blows up most run plays. He's a potential top 10 pick in next years draft.

it's Mgoblog. What do you expect?

Despite what people on here think, Michigan should be a pretty good team IF they can shore up that OL and get some decent QB play. Outside of Don Brown, Ed Warriner might be the biggest hire Harbaugh has made so far at Michigan. That guy is about as good as it gets if were talking strictly as an OL coach. Has no business being an OC, but if he's allowed to just coach OL and OL only, he's great at it. And if he gets cleared to play, Shea Patterson is by far the most talented QB that Harbaugh will have had to work with in his time at Michigan. Don't think that one is even remotely close to be honest.

That defense was extremely young last year and was pretty damn good. It returns everyone except DL Mo Hurst Jr and LB Mike McCray. CB Ambry Thomas and S Jaleyn-Kelly Powell have made big jumps this spring. Thomas might be the most talented CB on the roster and David Long and Lavert Hill were both excellent last year, they should be the best CB duo tandem in the B1G going into 2018.

Karran Higdon emerged as the guy at RB last year and he's the clear cut #1. Chris Evans is a heck of a change of pace and receiver out of the backfield. WR's and TE's were super young last year, they should be much improved. Tarik Black is back healthy and should have a big year if he has a QB that can get him the ball and the QB has an OL that doesn't absolutely suck like they did in 2017.

I don't think too many people, if any, stated they would be garbage. But your OL is suspect, you don't have a clear cut QB, especially if Shea isn't cleared. And even then he'd be starting on the road, at night, at ND. Also coming off a shredded knee.
I think Gary is pretty good but I also think Mo Hurst was completely under rated and made Gary look better than he was. Loss of Hurst and McCray is HUGE.

And lets face it, against real teams the D was average at best. You got drilled by PSU, lost handily to Wisconsin & OhioSt & SC and lost in a nail biter to MSU (who we jail sexed). You can look at your season stats and jerk off all you like but in the games that actually counted you shit the bed.

Harbaugh's glass ceiling is 3rd place in the Big Ten east, 2018 or any other year. But hey, maybe you get a win over Sparty this year!!

Notre Dame Spring Game: analysis from M n B, video | mgoblog

First, holy cow on that video. Second, the utter amount of delusions in that post.

There are a few decent poster over there that are expecting a close hard fought battle but the majority are just expecting UM to blow us out of the water.

I think this will be a close slug fest of a game, 20-17, or 24-21, something along those lines. This is with Shea playing and no major injuries between now and the game.

I'm expecting a win.

If we can't beat the 3rd/4th best team in the B1G East, we are in big trouble.

Sadly this is a rivalry game, so you never know what the outcome will be until we get on the field. I do hope we have the win though, we need to take the winning percentage back from those schmucks and we have some ground to make up after the NCAA vacated wins bullshit.

I do not expect a win (I expect karma for being dumb enough to start this series up again).

When we can't beat the 3rd/4th best team in the BIG East, we will be in trouble.

Who cares ... Jay Hayes is gonna come around the end and crush Shea, the ball pops out and Nick Watkins scoops it up and takes it in for 6.

That’s fine, but garbage.

Kids brother was hired at Ole Miss, after he committed I believe, and then is immediately eligible? Behind Freeze, kid knew the program was dirty more than anyone else.

Still more concerned with scoring on their D than their offense scoring on us. Gonna be a slugfest, IMO.

That's my hope, at minimum. If it's a defensive brawl, so be it.

At least that means our defense is strong enough to hold us in a game. There are just so many question marks after losing our d coordinator and bringing in some other positions coaches.

I'm officially on record guessing we win between 6-14 games.

Mike from ISD was absolutely livid about this news. And I can't blame him one damn bit. The pure hypocrisy of this move is infuriating, and if I'm ND, I don't let this stand. I'm putting the NCAA on blast. They can't continue to get away with this brutal corruption. First it was the vacating wins after the UNC debacle yielded zero penalty. Now Patterson is eligible for far less defensible reasons than Gilman, who was denied.

Again, I don't think Patterson is that good of a QB and he's basically expected to come in with nothing but fall experience, coming off a knee injury against a really good defense on the road at night. I'm honestly more confident in Wimbush and/or Book being prepared than I am Patterson being ready, especially since our OL appears better by a mile.

Patterson at Ole Miss had deceptively bad stats. By that I mean, he had 17 TD's to 9 INT's with 2259 yards passing. 166 of 260 (63.8%). That's good on paper, but keep in mind that he was 82/113 (72.4%) for 1169 yards and 13 TD's to 1 INT vs. UT Martin, South Alabama and Vanderbilt.

Meanwhile against the four toughest teams he faced last year:

@ Cal: 26/44 363 yards 2 TD/3 INT
@ Alabama: 14/29 165 yards 0 TD/2 INT
@ Auburn: 34/51 346 yards 2 TD/0 INT
vs. LSU: 10/23 116 yards 0 TD/3 INT

He was a total 84/147 (57.1%) 990 yards, 4 TD's and 8 INT's. And don't get too uneasy about the Auburn stats, because most of those numbers were made when the game was well out of hand. He was accurate in the first half, but his completions were mostly kept to 10 yards or less. By the time he got his TD drives, it was 38-3 Auburn and the game was pretty much over.

I think he's better than Peters or McCaffrey, but his track record against remotely decent or better teams is not favorable, and unlike Wimbush, he doesn't have the wheels to compensate for a low percentage passing game.

In my thousand mile high view point about this I feel like Michigan is really grasping at straws here. Look at pulling Ruddock and O'Korn. Ruddock was servicable while O'Korn was not very good at QBing. Harbaugh has yet to develop a QB he recruited. In the end I see this as the real beginning of the end if this doesn't work out the way the skunk bears think it is.

But never fear, they are off to Paris for croissants and poodles for their spring action.

Shea Patterson must be much better than Darnold, because if ND could contain Darnold and speculation says Patterson will tune them up, he must be something special

He is currently the #1 pick on a couple 2019 draft boards. Lol
