At the very least I love how he's flat out going after the sec with a variety of F you type of actions

he needs more coaches on his side. The thing about SEC folks is they will always circle the wagons. You'll hear Freeze or Bielema backing up Saban now no doubt

Rumor: Four Baylor Class of '16 players to enroll at Michigan.
Harbaugh: "We have room."
Saban: "He's oversigning."

I don't get what is funny about it? If they are doing a satellite camp, it makes sense to partner with a local school for facilities. Wayne State gets to be part of an event that brings in talent they may not normally be able to get onto their campus. They get to have their coaches buddy up with Florida's coaches and everyone wins.

I think that is a lot more reasonable then schools bribing high schools with 6-digit payments in order to recruit their high schoolers under cloak and dagger.

the fact that SEC schools jumped on the satellite camp wagon so quickly after denouncing it is what i find amusing. Ain't they got enough talent in the south to negate the need to travel north?

Here's what Kelly had to say

“We’re going to make that happen,” the seventh-year Notre Dame head football coach said Thursday, relaxing in his office. “We’ve got some work to do, but we’re going to make it happen.
“It’s something (ND athletic director) Jack Swarbrick and I want to do, and we’re going to get that game back together. We’ve got some challenges, but I think we can pull it off.”
How soon?
“We want to do it as soon as we can,” Kelly said. “We’ve got Michigan State home-and-home the next two years (2016-17), and then we’re hoping to. We want to get in on the schedule as quickly as possible after that.”

This just doesn't make any sense to me. Sounds like they want to start the series in 2018, a year in which we play Florida State, Stanford, and USC. In 2019 we play @UGA, USC, and Stanford. With some (presumably) strong scUM teams added in there, I don't see how we could feasibly hope to compete for a playoff spot. We should be trying to make the schedule less difficult if anything.

Seems like he wants to rotate home and homes vs. the two Michigan skools. I'd be fine with that...as long as we win. :)

It is called "not being in a conference".

I thought I would miss the scUM game much more than I actually do.

Agree with this 100%. Really thought I would hate seeing the rivalry go, but it hasn't bothered me 1 bit. Now, if you flip the scoreline of the last game, I'd probably be jonesing for a rematch.

Fuck that. Don't even want to play them on a neutral playoff game, cause that means they went undefeated or one loss during the season. I'd rather we wind up in the playoff and they go 0-12, like heaven intended.
