Seriously, Urban won, he got to keep his job, why does he feel the need to continue justifying himself by lying?

He'll never get the ND job if he doesn't stand firm against these ludicrous allegations!

It seems like it’s killing him that people are calling out his hypocrital bullshit. He comes across like he wants to be seen as operating from a morale high ground.

A friend of mine texted me yesterday :"Settle down Urban, you don't get to talk about morality clauses in your contracts when you coached a serial murderer."

He was blasted in article on the Athletic today. Even though it'll start dying down unfortunately, he deserves all the back lash he receives. I hope opposing fan bases chant against him all season long.

At this point, he's just lying about lies. His ESPN interview, with Tom Rinaldi, was disgusting. I wish Rinaldi would've done a better job of fact checking him because it sounded to me that his original story has now changed, again.

I'm waiting on Murphey to bring the hammer down on him with an article that exposes his lies and constant changing of the story.

Lucci you seriously have to stop over-comma-ing.

It drives, me, nuts.

I like using commas, creates that pause, like you are actually talking to a person, in real life :)

I had a baseball coach in high school who, for unknown reasons, was also the dean of students. He spoke in phrases that were separated by "um-ah" and a a hand gesture where his downward facing fists were balled up, then he flared his fingers.

Occasionally, if one patched the phrases together, one might discover a complete sentence.

It might have ground my gears had it not been so damn funny.

Sorry for the digression.

Was your baseball coach Jeff Goldblum?

Bosa had surgery and is out. Word is 4-6 weeks, but given his brothers injury history in the NFL, he may just shut it down for good.

Hate to hear that. I didn't think the injury was that bad when he left the field during the game. Hope he recovers and gets back out there. He is better than his older brother IMO.

Urban Meyer lies again....

Urban Meyer lies again....

...and Nick Bosa's Dad calls him out ;) (not really, but would be a good headline)

Nick Bosa is not to be re-evaluated until November, per Nick's Dad in the linked article from The Athletic's OSU beat writer Ari Wasserman. John Bosa specifically references Urban Meyer claiming in his weekly news conference today that it will be 'a few more weeks', then goes on to emphatically stress that Nick isn't even being re-evaluated until November.

John Bosa didn't give his opinion on whether Urban was specifically lying, whether Urb was distracted by the reporter asking how long will Bosa be out and wondering 'who would create such a story' (about Nick being out longer), or if Urban just forgot the diagnosis due to his medication.

The reality is that the Bosas called to update Meyer, but Shelly answered the phone and just didn't think to pass along the message to her husband.

Honestly, I was expecting that. Definitely would make a potential post-season matchup vs the Buckeyes much easier, though Chase Young ain't chopped liver

Given this, would you guys rather face Michigan or the Buckeyes in the CFP?

I don't think the Buckeyes look that good. Although their skill position players are great, their OL is not impressive and their front 7 actually doesn't look as dominant as you would think.

Michigan would have that "payback" mentality too, so you know they'd be hyped up, whereas Buckeye players probably think they'd coast against us.

Give me the Buckeyes, but it's close.

scUM without question.

I think it's a question. I just don't think OSU is the typical OSU this year. One guy worries me on defense and that's Chase Young. One guy can be schemed around (just have Dexter block him).

I get the argument for Michigan. Beat them once, didn't have Book, didn't have Dexter. But BW played really well that game too.

And they'd have film (as would we), but I don't like the revenge factor, and like it or not Shea is going to keep getting better.

I'd take scUM.

I think we could shut down Patterson, because he's overrated and despite what the talking heads would tell you, the scUM coaching staff still hasn't really figured out how to use him. He's been better since the ND game... OR HAS HE??? ND made an average quarterback look bad in his first start. He would likely play better in a second matchup, but I think our D would still make him look bad in general. scUM has been riding a bad schedule and a good running game since the ND game, even though the analysts would tell you that Patterson has been great. Shut down Evans and Higdon, and make Patterson beat you... spoiler alert: He can't.

Playing OSU, I think it would be a shootout. If Haskins is on his game and OSU's WR's aren't dropping the ball, I think they could stress our defense enough over four quarters to beat us. I think we would do the same to their defense. It would be close and stressful.

I'd take a game against scUM, knowing that our team has probably improved more than theirs since game one, despite what the experts would have you believe.
