this is some serious shit. if you look at the pics and texts, no way Urban didn't know.
This could actually cost him his job. Sticking by a crap coach who can't develop WR's might just cost him his job.
What % chance do you really think Urban gets fired? I'll say 5%
OR
2. The lawyers are figuring out how to let Urban resign his position without admitting guilt or responsibility on behalf of both him and Ohio State University. If they figure out how to give him a buyout without looking like total dweebs, and he can take it without his character being ruined with legitimate proof, he gone.
I can't picture them firing him..
It makes sense to put him on leave so the first couple weeks of practice isn't a media circus...
However, Urban's statement saying he can't wait for the resolution to this without saying and me returning to coach this OSU team is pretty interesting...

I'm gonna put that way higher. I think Urban is gone. They may not 'fire' him, but they'll give him a chance to resign and save some face.
This is now appx 12 accusations of physical or sexual abuse being covered up by coaches at OSU in less than a month.
They're gonna clean house.
He will almost certainly resign. Even apart from the obvious ethical problem, I believe that both he and his wife are mandatory reporters.
I'm glad to see that there has so far not been much gloating here. This is not a scUM board.

A resignation would be tantamount to an admission of guilt. Meyer has every reason to fight this tooth and nail.
I would be shocked if this ends in anything but Meyer keeping his job or a lawsuit on the heels of his firing.
I don't know. These changes to his contract are pretty straightforward.
This is wild: One day after the alleged domestic incident, that Urban Meyer allegedly knew about (Oct. 25, 2015), Meyer went on Bill O'Reilly's show and said that he'd have trouble keeping Jameis Winston on his team after Winston stole crab legs. ONE DAY
Fuck you!Urban Meyer will take a break and then be the next coach at Michigan.
There are really only two things that can follow a move like this:
1. They put him on “leave” so it looks like the institution cares, which also gives them a convenient excuse to avoid all media questions because of “an ongoing investigation,” then they reinstate him after week one or two as long as they can redact or destroy any of his electronic communications from 2015 that might have shown that he had knowledge. They then say, “Shelly knew, but felt the authorities would handle the situation since a police report had been made.” Urban keeps coaching and Shelly skates because she passes the buck to the police.

this could save weirdos job at UM
