In a 4-3 defense you wouldn't take Jarron Jones over Louis Nix? I think Louis Nix was incredibly overrated and I understand he's a fan favorite. He was dominant at times in 2012. But if you think I am an idiot that's fine just my opinion

I would just take Rudolph because I think he is more of a complete TE. Eifert is a far superior pass catching target and underrated blocker. Both would be great, Blanton was extremely underrated IMO and has turned out to be a heck of a pro player. I just can't get KR getting dominated by a 5'8 WR but he really got better as the season went along. He could very easily replace him this year if he lives up to the billing

I agree that you can't really go wrong with Eifert or Rudolph, I would go with Eifert because other than Floyd i think he has been the best receiving target of the BK era. KR I went partially on the assumption he will have a good, hopefully great season. Did you forget to list Nix or do you think Jones is a better NT?

No, I remember Nix my only thing is playing in a 4-3 I would take Jarron Jones. I thought he was playing at a very high level before he got hurt. In a 3-4 I would take Louis Nix

However you wanna do it, I just did it in the sense that we run a 4-3 so figured I would list the players if BK was rolling out his dream team this year in a 4-3

Love both, but if I were forced to choose I would take Rudolph and I know it isn't his ideal system, but I'd find a place for Nix even on a four man front and work the rest out from there.

On Nix, it depends what Nix we get. 2012 Nix? Yes please. Any other year Nix? It's much closer.

I notice transfers are allowed on your list (Golson). If that's the case, I would've thrown Lynch in at the other DE. It's mostly a potential pick, but if he had stayed at ND our speed rush would've been sick.

Aaron Lynch just wouldn't be worth the headache he brought to the team. Everybody couldn't stand him and he couldn't stand being here. Give me Kap all day

I would take him over any RB if he could reproduce that single 100 yard game another time. He could never play again and I would still take him. That USC game was piece of art.

Wooly I agree from a talent stand point it's not close. If Lynch ever had his head screwed on correctly he would have been an all time great at ND. He was also awful against the run, all he ever wanted to do was rush the QB and he was darn good at it. I just think overall Kap is the better player but Lynch has/had the much higher ceiling.

I agree with most on the original list except I'd take Eifert, Keivarae and LNIII in place of Rudolph, Blanton and J. Jones.

I have high hopes for Jones but he has yet to put together a full season.

Hughes was the one that went off against USC.

Hughes was the one that went off against USC.

Jonas Gray was a beast in 2011. He took the #1 RB role from a Cierre Wood who was having an outstanding season himself. Only season we really scared teams running the ball in the Kelly era IMO.

It's a shame people forget how good a season Kap was having in 2012. He had the best season any ND D-Lineman has had with the exception of Tuitt and Nix that year, who both legitimately looked like top-10 pick material. He certainly looked better than either did in 2013. It's still so disappointing how flat we were in 2013 overall.

Blanton was also criminally underrated in 2011. He did nothing but blow up plays on a very regular basis.
