This kinda sucks. Yes, the SEC streak is over and SEC trolls can shut the Hell up about their "dominance", but Auburn was the last team I wanted to see lose. Of the SEC teams they are among my favorite, and their comeback story was incredible. However, watching Alabama get waxed by OU evened things out. Quite a rocky year for the SEC.

I believe the biggest benefit in aligning with the ACC in football would be recruiting. We already get one visit each year out to Cali, now we get more time in the South. We all know how much talent is in the Southeastern region.

Bowl tie-ins and it's a better conference for our non-football sports with the collapse of the Big East.

I believe the biggest benefit in aligning with the ACC in football would be recruiting. We already get one visit each year out to Cali, now we get more time in the South. We all know how much talent is in the Southeastern region.

I'm not sure how much it will benefit recruiting since we recruit nationally, but you never know. Maybe we land a Florida kid or two because we'll play FSU and Miami.

I think the biggest benefit of aligning with the ACC is that we get better access to Carolina style BBQ, while ACC teams that come to SB get access to Lucky Charms cereal.

Carolina style BBQ is the worst kind of BBQ. However, its still better than no BBQ at all.

ACC is a great move for the entire menu of sports and absolutely necessary due to the collapse of the Big East. Locking up 5 ACC games per year for football gives us best of both worlds while ACC gets first dibs on us if we are forced into a conference and a big boost in TV $$s for having 2 or 3 ND games per year on their TV schedule.

ACC whiners will "get it" when they host ND football and sell out their entire season ticket package as a result. They needed more football power and the loose affiliation puts them with two "members" in the title game in two years.

Jimbo gave some good ACC props after the game too. I never thought I would root for FSU but I sure was last night! The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

At least you get the vinegar based BBQ - all I can find is that nasty, mustard based, baby poop looking BBQ here in the Columbia area.

The biggest benefit is that I will get to go see some games. At Clemson in 2015 is already circled.
